2021-2022 Temple

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Got it. Thank you!!

I've been trying to look at some more information about the St. Luke's campus school how it compares to the main campus, but haven't had any luck finding quality information. Outside of location/environment and class size, are there any differences between the Temple and St. Luke’s campuses?

Appreciate all the positivity throughout this thread! Would be beyond privileged to get an A from here.
During M3 and M4, rotations are done at St. Luke's hospital. There really won't be an opportunity to go to the main campus until M4, and even then it is for electives. That's all I know.

If you get accepted to the St. Luke's campus, are you bound there or can you decide to switch to the main campus (and vise versa)?
You apply to one campus and are accepted there--my letter made it very clear the A was for the St. Luke's campus. Like the other commenter said, you can do some rotations at the main campus sites. Plus about 20 students from main campus come to Bethlehem years 3+4 to do their rotations. But no, it's not like other schools where you're accepted to the system rather than a specific campus

Where did you guys send your thank you letters to?
One of my interviewers gave me their email. The other two I tried to find online through Temple's website. If you can't find them, I'm sure you could email them to the admissions office and ask them to direct them to your interviewers.

Does anyone have the admissions email for the St. Luke's program?

II (Philly campus) on 12/14 at like 2 AM haha I was not expecting that!

LM 82, OOS, complete 7/23, no updates

Question for those who interviewed,
What time of day is the interview and how long does the whole thing take? Trying to plan something after...

It started at 9am and ended around 3:30pm, unless you identify as URM or LGBTQ and decide to do one of the diversity meetings in which case it ended at 4pm (if I remember correctly)

Still silence...
In-state + Philly-area, complete August 9th, LM 71, no updates

Should I send an update/letter of interest?
if you have any worth-while updates I would 100% send in an update!! Good luck king/queen!!
I second this! when I signed up for my interview (got the invite on 12/14) there were 8 open dates only in January and even more in February! THERE IS HOPE

Interviewed 10/12 at St. Luke's - I thought they said they would send decisions out on December 1st but haven't heard anything. Did they just say they start sending decisions throughout December? The wait is agonizing haha - anyone hear from them who interviewed around the same time?

I interviewed at St.Luke’s on 11/5 and I have heard back. I would check your spam folders if you have not already.

I sent a letter of interest/ update letter with not even super significant updates and I think it helped me! Update sent 12/11 and II today 12/22. I’d recommend it 🙂
How did you send it? Upload to the portal?

One of the requirements to keep the acceptance was to select commit to attend on AMCAS I believe by March or April, I forget. How do we do this?

You are misunderstanding.

There is Plan to Enroll (PTE), which does not involve a commitment, and Commit to Enroll (CTE), which does. You cannot do anything until the tool becomes active in your AMCAS portal on 2/19 (2/22 this cycle, since 2/19 falls on a Saturday and 2/21 is Presidents' Day), at which time you can select PTE, which is not a final selection, and, again, does not involve a commitment. You can change that as often as you like until you make a CTE selection, which IS final once made.

The ability to select CTE goes live on 4/30 (5/2 this cycle, since 4/30 also falls on a Saturday). It does involve a commitment, and requires you to withdraw from all other WLs. Temple does not require you to make this selection on 4/30 (or 5/2). Its deadline is 7/1.

is the continuing candidates list the same as the waitlist? or is it that they haven't made a final decision and will tell us during their last decision wave?
