People heard back this week in past years, right? Anybody heard back yet?

Has anyone heard back for the Maine program this week yet?

I interviewed 1/10 but haven't heard back. Is that silent R? I'm not sure how Tufts does this

I interviewed 12/17 for Maine track and have not heard anything - they said end of January but still nothing for me. When did you interview?

I interviewed 12/2 and heard end of December that I was deferred but could hear about an A at any of the subsequent meetings. 😩

@send_help, from what I've gathered, the answer is no. Interviews can happen throughout the interview season. I would think if they weren't still considering you, they'd have rejected you? I'm still waiting to hear anything from a bunch of places . . .

i don’t think they’ve rejected anyone yet so I’m just concerned that they’re waiting to send out a mass R wave

Is there any pattern that anyone can see to what days/times Tufts gives acceptances? Do they usually occur all at once on a given day or scattered throughout day? Are there typical days they tend to give out As? Thanks!

Honestly this is just speculation based on past decision weeks- but if we have not gotten a call by the end of today it probably is deferral at best. Does not seem like anyone has gotten a call on Thursdays- although someone can correct me if I am wrong.

just got deferred interviewed 1/10. does anyone know if people actually get accepted after this? now its 3 schools im on delayed decision for 😢

One of the M1s during my interview day mentioned they were deferred before being accepted so let’s keep up hope 🤝

Has anyone gotten any Maine track acceptances this week?
Going back in this thread, it looks like in October and November, Maine Trackers received acceptances on the first Thursday of each month. My guess is that December was different because of the holidays. So - and this is purely speculation - perhaps calls will go out tomorrow? In short, I don’t think there’s a need to panic just yet!

Any chance they mentioned the dates they were deferred/accepted?

Does their grad program help with matriculation into medical school? Tufts is my top choice and thinking about attending a grad program if I have to reapply. Thanks in advance.
I am not sure whether they prioritize students who have taken their graduate programs so I cannot speak to that. I am in the MPH program because I am very passionate about public health and look to combine an MD with my MPH in the future, but since public health is not generally considered "hard science" in my experience, I would not recommend that program if you are looking to boost your GPA/academic track record for medical school.

However, I have been told by a Tufts medical school professor that the Tufts Master of Biomedical Sciences program is great for people looking to boost the academics/research for their medical school application! Tufts in general seems to have good research opportunities--I have had two papers published in the past year, and all of the faculty have been friendly and helpful. I could not recommend the school more.

Last year the pre-II Rs started early January, wonder what's taking so long this year

Is anyone who’s already been accepted to the Maine Track & accepted the offer in the Boston area? Would love to start connecting with fellow class members!

I'm a Tufts Master's in Biomedical Science grad, it's a fantastic program for those who need a resume booster. You take the same courses as the first-year MD and take the same tests. Once you've done that, it's really easy to show medical schools that you are capable of completing the coursework. The professors are fantastic and it is all around a great opportunity if your undergrad resume is lacking.

Hiii for those that have interviewed did you receive an email or a call notifying you???

anyone know where we can find any info about waitlist movement for Tufts Maine? or anyone have any idea what someone's chances are after being deferred?
