In the last year thread, those that had received mailed acceptances, said the portal was updated (and email arrived) a few days later
Lol I actually heard the exact opposite from my friend who interviewed in Sept and was accepted in Oct (9/1-10/20) last year. He said that he received an email on 10/20, and the mail came later, so now I don't know what to expect. IUSM always keepin us on our toes

I also have a piece of mail without a picture, so hopefully this is a good thing, but I will say this happened to me the other day and it was nothing 😢
I googled why there may not be a picture, and it said basically anything that's larger than a standard envelope would have no picture. So if they send like a packet in a big envelope that could be it. But it could all also just be our weekly Kroger add XD

My fight or flight is fully active rn so really hoping its not our weekly Kroger ad lol

Do they usually send an email as well as the physical mail copy of A/R/waitlist decisions? My mystery package is delivering to my parents house who are out of town this week

someone go got the A for ED said it came in a big envelope. their acceptance letter wasn’t folded or anything so!!

Not me checking my informed delivery, not seeing any mysterious oversized packages coming and gaslighting myself into thinking I have been WL'd or R'd.

IU only issues post-interview WL or R at the end of the cycle
2 of my friends got post-II R's in December. I do know other people who indeed waited till the end of cycle to find out.

Same. What are the odds of receiving an acceptance later in the cycle? Or is this the only week for early interviews

IU is not very transparent in this regard. So no one would be able to compare the odds of getting an A earlier rather than later. But I personally know quite a few people who interviewed early and got accepted way later into the cycle.

I know a lot of people who waited a few months to hear back, and still got in. There's definitely hope even if you don't hear back this month!
