How was the interview for those who did it this year? Pretty straight forward or some thought provoking questions?

How much time between the initial II email and the email with link to schedule?

I just got my II on Monday (11/14) and received it this morning (11/17). I managed to schedule for the week of 12/12.

I did reach out after receiving the II that I would be several time zones away during the week of 1/3, so the 12/12 and 1/17 weeks would work best for me. I'm also OOR, so that may be part of it.

Looking at previous cycles, you can definitely get rejected before then. Havent seen anyone get accepted from SUC before february though. So any news until feb is probs bad news for us.

I want to say I've heard of one person who did, but that's definitely the exception. If you're on the SUC list, I'd count on being notified mid February. I was on the SUC list and got my call from my EXCOM member around 7 or 8 pm on Friday, Feb 19th. Acceptance and rejection emails went out thw following Monday. So I would expect to find out some time around then. Also, despite the fact that SUC list emails say you'll hear an update weekly or something like that, I got ONE email between mid December and Feb 19th. So if you're on the list and don't hear anything, don't freak out. They're just REALLY BAD at sending update emails to the SUC list people.

SUC are the people that have already interviewed but have not received a final decision yet. The emails that you’re getting are the still under review emails, which are a little different. I’m assuming that for you it will follow the general process of the gradual sending out of interviews, not something that is really tied to the EXCOM meetings.

Based on the As in this year's thread, I think they tend to give the call the following week after the EXCOM meeting, like following Wed or Thurs. So keep your heads up and may the good news be with y'all!
