Just saying – I think it's very cruel to send out a zoom link for waitlist. Like everything isn't stressful enough and takes its toll on you – if they're going to proceed with the zoom link, it should only be for those admitted. Why set up false hope? Does anyone else think that that is cruel and inappropriate? I hope someone from the school is reading this and takes note.

Completely agree with this... if it was a WL I'd prefer to just be emailed..

I would 100% agree with you except that it did happen in the past lol. I'm hoping that maybe a lesson was learned from that year not to do it again and that this coming monday is A's

If I remember correctly** from the interview day they said that there are multiple points of accepting people into the program. In other words, if you don't get an A Oct Xth, then you might still be eligible on future days, outside of even a waitlist.

** I am forgetful, and have been fed a lot of information from a lot of different schools

It seems pretty clear to me that they send zoom links to people that are getting As, and then ask them to not disclose that zoom link=A during the meeting. The post above from wallstreetbroke admitted that the people he is referring to were not too reliable and could very possibly have received zoom links but didn't notice them/they were in their spam folder. So yes, I would assume that if you interviewed in September, then no zoom link=alt list. Expect the worst, hope for the best 🙁

it is what it is. They just telegraph their admissions decisions a few days early and try to have fun with people. But those well versed in SDN forums know exactly what a zoom link means 🤣

I also think it's quite funny how people rush to SDN to post about their acceptance 0.1 seconds after getting it (rightfully so I might add), but in previous years, there is almost nobody reporting As on this thread. Just zoom links, and then those people magically disappear

Judging from Case's other yearly threads on SDN, it looks like everyone else gets alt listed.
