How difficult were the MMI questions when you interviewed? I’m using third party resources to practice and some of the questions are not the easiest.

Also, any specific resources you recommend?
Sorry for the later response i hope this will still be helpful! When I interviewed, I felt that the MMI questions were extremely fair and questions that they should be asking applicants. I wouldn't worry too much about using third party resources. If you did well on CASPER you would do well in an MMI setting. Make sure you talk through your thought process as well as any potential additional information you would need to come up with a solution. Communicate well and you will do great!

I agree 100%.

if we don't submit an update letter as allowed on the II, do yall think it'll be looked down on? the candidate website under post-Interview checklist (Interview Candidate Guide) makes it seem like a necessity?

I didn’t have anything worth an update so I didn’t. From their website, I got more of a sense of “if you have something that is absolutely worth updating us about, you have a very small window now so make it count.” Maybe I got the wrong impression though idk.

I submitted 8/6 with TC preference, but also answered the rural questions. My LM is 67 and I’m OOS but attended undergrad here. Has anyone submitted around that time and not heard anything yet??

What??? 2 weeks already?! Didn't know it was that soon.

*also me every other day...Alexa, how many days until December 8...
Does anyone know what time of day they usually send the emails? And they don't call, right?

Does anyone have any idea if those who interviewed late October/early November will find out admission decisions next week? We were told that it could be either Dec or Feb, but not sure what other people were told.

Not sure if this helps, but I interviewed recently and our group was told we would have to wait until Feb to get a decision

Anyone know a specific time when emails for WL and R will be on Dec 8th? Or just anytime throughout the 8a-5p?

I applied last year and got the post-interview R. I didn't hear back until the February date but I remember people who got the A were called starting late morning to mid afternoon, and then I got my official R in an email around 6pm CT. Could be diff this year but that was just my experience.

I interviewed in mid October, and I remember the school saying they would let us know either in December or February. It would be great to get clarification on which date we can expect to receive a decision on. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Good luck to everyone hearing back in a week! As always, let me know if there are any questions I can answer about this process or about the curriculum. Last cycle, I interviewed early November, heard back in Feb, got an acceptance phone call around 2 pm. Emails for acceptances, waitlists, and rejections got sent around 6:30pm. You will only get a phone call if you get accepted. They usually happen sequentially throughout the day based on your interview date. So those who interview before you get the phone call before you. However, my friend who interviewed before me got her phone call after me so its not exactly perfect but they do their best.

Does anyone have any idea how much campus preference plays into where you get placed (if accepted of course)? I truly would be happy with either campus, but I chose Minneapolis due to family connection. I feel I fit with Duluth very well due to my experiences and where I was born and raised, so I don't want them to see I chose Minneapolis first and assume I don't want to be there.

Does anyone know what the post-II acceptance rate is for in-state students?
