From the office hour this week, Geo from admissions said that applications in all three tracks are still actively being considered and interview invites are still being sent out, and they do not have a set date as to when IIs will stop. However from this thread it doesn't seem like that many people have been receiving IIs lately..

I've already had some nasty experiences on informal group chats and have heard stories about weird things happening in other ones. I'd stick to whatever is official, just my opinion

I interviewed early December, and my interviewers were both lovely. I think it really just depends on the interviewer, but in general, just be your shining self, and I'm sure it will be great! UCLA's vibe is definitely not to scare you away. 🙂

I am a current student, this is simply not true. There are still a significant number of acceptances that have yet to go out. Acceptances are slowly released over the course of interview season and pick up once interviews conclude.

Logically it makes sense. The people who’ve gotten As so far have been stellar candidates with multiple A’s already, so the reason why we’re seeing December dubs is because they are the most immediate “yes.” No one in August, September, October, etc is out of the running yet.

I’m pretty much about a month away from giving up on a career of dedicating myself to others and just getting a warehouse job and playing super smash bros until I’m a corpse. I’m just exhausted of all this waiting and putting my life on pause and turning down jobs because I might hear back from these adcoms who decide my worth and value as a human being based upon a few numbers on a page and some words I’ve written about myself.

They’re not deciding your worth or value as a human. They’re deciding if you get into their medical school. The two are not the same.

I thought I had one. You might have one, you might not. Either way, they like you and think you are good enough for a seat if they're interviewing you. A completely normal interview may feel/look like a stress interview to you as well if you are already stressed haha so my advice here would be to just go in assuming that they want to get to know you for you (which they do) and run with it. Will be over before you know it.
