If I am not published in anything but still participated in undergraduate research, should I just write N/A here?

That's what I did. I only have a poster presentation from my research, so I assumed that didn't count.

For the publications question, can we put publications that are in preparation and will be submitted within the next few months? Or do you think it is limited to papers that have been officially accepted/submitted?

only the submitted/accepted ones. Presumably you talked about participating in these research projects in your primary app.

Current M2 at VTC, feel free to ask any questions you may have either in the thread so others can see or DM me. Good luck!

Edit: I have received multiple requests to review secondary applications - I am unable to do so. I am not on the admissions committee, and I do not want applicants to place an undue amount of emphasis on my input regarding their applications. I am happy to answer questions about the school, curriculum, Roanoke, etc.

For #3, would a lab tech experience be too closely related to research? I was being paid and not participating in research.
My plan B for this question would be a story from my freshman year dorm, so it wld have nothing to do with professional experiences.

For what it's worth I did a personal situation and got an II, so it definitely doesn't need to be professional. I just made sure to reflect on how I grew from it

are the IIs in person this year?

Anyone know what the II -> A rate is?

I believe it’s around 45% including WL -> A? Currently an M1 and if I remember correctly, they told us they ultimately accepted around 140 people and I think they interview a little over 300?

I know this is neurotic, but what do they mean by "appropriate citation format"? do they just mean to pick a format like AMA and follow it?

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but it should be cited in the style consistent with the discipline the research is in (chemistry is different than psychology)!

thank you! I'll just go with what makes more sense

Rejected (we declined to invite you to submit a secondary) based on MCAT screening.

Does anybody know how strict VTC is on the 2 week deadline? I'm past 2 weeks now but I also want to apply since they're in state for me

For question 4, list any publications in the appropriate citation format using the text box below. If I don't have any publications, but 900 hours of research and an poster presentation is it worth applying?

yes

Anyone from the first interview date? When do you think we will hear back?

Last year the first acceptances were delayed a week and given 10/22, the year before it was 10/16, I’d assume the earliest would be tomorrow.

Does anyone who interviewed in August or September remember during interview day when admissions said that we might hear back? I completely forgot
