Field Report: High-Value Target – Status: Captured & Eliminated

Everything unraveled in the final minutes. He’d made it this far, skirting under the radar. He was ready to slip into the shadows again. But just before the day’s mission ended, the other operative in the crosshairs dropped a bomb. Field tracker, IMF clearance, confirmed trail. It was too much for the team to ignore, even if they weren't sure. They had one chance to strike.

When he stepped into the alley, the gas canister hit the pavement without a sound. The extraction van was already waiting.

He awoke in a dark room, tied to a chair. He didn't fight against his restraints. He just smiled.

Inside his pocket was a folded train ticket - destination: Davos.
On the back, written in precise handwriting:

"It's not about who pulls the trigger. It's about who sets the terms."

And suddenly, the man who had been lurking in the shadows stopped pretending.

No resistance. No escape plan. Just that same unblinking stare.
He looked at each agent like a chessboard already played.

"Do you feel safe now?" he asked.
He never spoke again.

The body is confirmed. Dental, retinal, DNA: Solomon Lane.
The architect of the Syndicate. The man who weaponized disillusionment.
The one who hunted Julia.
Gone.

And yet-

Three separate server nodes registered activity within the Entity’s network at the moment of Lane’s death.
Not disappointment. Not retaliation.

Adjustment.

@fruitsalad, who was Solomon Lane, Leader of the Syndicate, Godfather and 1x Strongman, has been eliminated.

But the mission isn’t over. Not by a long shot.

That might be possible too. I've only played once with a GF and it was a party game that was the simple counter-miller type (shows as innocent to cops) o__o so anything is possible now.

Oh. I guess there is also the situation where fruit had no idea their death would trigger anything because there's a 3p group.

Okay yep following you now. I misread the intent of the end of your post and thought you were saying you had gained that info, not that it was your intent in the choice

Anyway, my interpretation of the write up is that the syndicate may be finished and we are 3p exclusionary win con hunting
