II will continue probably till late spring (March-April-May). RowanSOM uses rolling admissions, therefore they are continuosly reviewing new applications.

They did say they like non-traditional students and do give strong preference for them, as it brings more diversity and life experiences to the table.

Ah darn, well I guess they want what they want then. I talked to a 1st year student during my interview and she said that she only knew a few people that came in directly after undergrad. I dont know if the fact that I got to interview as a current undergrad is a good or bad sign. 🙁

Anyone know why my LOR says "Incomplete"? When I click on it the website has a green check next to all my supplied letters. Is this because they need to verify that 2 of my letters are from science faculty (as I had no committee at my school)?

Very likely this coming Friday, December 2nd, because they usually meet the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month.

I have been complete since September here and haven't heard anything yet. Does anyone know how long it will take to hear back for an II? Or is this a bad sign?

If you search thisntread timeframes have varied widely. Some people got II in less than 2 weeks while other took 3 months...

So I did certified mail (someone on their end has to sign it and you can track your envelope, cost like 2 bucks. But definitely not necessary!) and when I knew it reached there, I just emailed April to confirm.

I was also waitlisted after my October 1 interview. I spoke with Dean Watkins and was told there is significant movement off of the waitlist. I was told about 1/3 of last year's class was on the waitlist which is incredible! So there is hope don't worry. They said once they start utilizing the waitlist the names just fly off one after the other starting after the new year and through march; one student last year was notified of his acceptance a few hours after white coat ceremony. Good luck!

@gmathoor the interview day and the interview itself was very relaxed and lay back. They really make you feel comfortable. Everyone was chill and nice. Just be yourself, know your application well (EC, volunteering, etc), and make eye contact.

sent in my deposit just a few days ago! excited beyond words. for anyone wondering about the deposit timeline: sent mine via certified mail and it was delivered in 2 days. on the portal under "upload files" is a scanned copy of the sheet where i checked off "yes i accept" etc. so if you're wondering whether or not they received it just check there

Times have been quite variable and honestly, interviews can come after any adcom meeting.

Anyone know if this school views interests letters as a positive or they just want you to sit back and hold tight? I know schools differ on this, but I've heard back from everywhere else (either positively or negatively) except Rowan. At this point I wouldn't even mind a pre-interview rejection. Closure is underrated.

I have heard they view interest and intent letter favorably!! Go for it!

I just coincidentally checked my portal and saw I had an interview invite from today, however, I did not get an email stating this. Even when I confirmed the interview date, I didn't get a confirmation email back, although it says it was sent in the "Communication" tab. Has this happened to anyone else or is my email acting up? I sent a test email from a previous account and I received the email.

Got same issue, but only found out today!!! Hope still have a chance. Lots of explaination to do...
