So I'm going to bring this up once more: if it wasn't PSV (pending the writeup), who was it? Can we at least make a suggestion to the wolf? I'll repeat, the ideal person for her to kill is Cult Leader specifically, or she could lose tomorrow evening (it would be 1 wolf vs 2 village vs 2 cult, very trivial for the cult to win from there).

I guess my confusion here is that…. Isn’t it not necessarily even beneficial for the wolf to seek out the cult? They just want someone dead. Doesn’t matter who it is.

So I’ve never really understood this point of essentially making deals with the devil or whatever you’re trying to do

If the wolf picks a villager they literally lose the game next cycle unless some villager has a PR that messes up the cult.

It is extremely in the wolf's interest to pick a cultist, specifically the cult leader

It is also in our interest for the wolf to pick a cultist/cult later

If they kill a villager and there's a conversion:

1 🐺 2 Village 2 Cult

Which would be very easy to win as cult.

So they want to get the cultist. And this is the best case scenario; if there are two cultists they absolutely have to get one.

I would just caution against getting locked into this mode of thinking, because it does make some mechanistic assumptions that may not be true. We can't confirm that the cult has a chat, and we are making several assumptions about cult win condition and abilities, as well as their relationship to the other scum faction.
