I actually have my acceptance letter. As the next to last person to interview, I was still on campus when the Dean started notifying applicants (I actually bought a t-shirt from the medical school at the campus bookstore after my interview). So, the Dean said come on by his office and he handed me my acceptance letter.
The letter says $3,000 deposit within 30 days of the date of the letter mailed to Emily. The letter was dated the date of the interview - December 1st.
The interview pace will have to pick up with a class of 100 to fill (could be 108 if the other post is correct - I don't know). We interviewed on the first interview day. I don't have any idea if all 10 who interviewed on that day were accepted.
I don't agree with the assessment of the school being generous with acceptances. I came away from the process believing that Dr. Murphy and his staff are committed to their mission of producing rural primary care physicians. All of the applicants that I met were well qualified, personable, enthusiastic, and, in my opinion, well suited to study medicine. They would be good selections and I hope that all were accepted.
Just be yourself and be honest. Get to know the other applicants while you wait together. It will be time well spent.
