This secondary is garbage. I really wish those at Tulane showed a higher level of professionalism.

probably bc they have a limit of 1000 characters on their secondaries... I did the same thing and had to shorten them.
Finally got mine after 10pm last night.
I believe Q2 last attended activities is just asking what you've done last if you applied previously and didn't get accepted.

How is anyone supposed to interpret it to mean that? lol
I'm thinking that's what it means because it's next to the "have you applied to Tulane before" and "in what year" boxes.

There is definately something messed up with this app. Is anyone having the issue that every help button they click on says "No help for this section"?
I'm guessing it's the 1000 character limit that they have that isn't listed. ChubbyChaser seems to agree with this. I asked a while ago and was ignored.

I just got off the phone with someone at the office of admissions, and this is what she told me:
- If you've already graduated, put down what you've been doing between then and now for "Q2 Last attended activities."
- There is a 1000 character limit for the essays.

I just got mine today, I don't see anything immediately confusing, although that will probably change.

I just submitted and paid. Can anybody tell me what their screen did after they paid? Mine is just blank. Please let me know! Thanks!

They misspelled Interfolio on their secondary...

Erm, when I log in, I just see a blank screen with my name on it. How do I get to the application?
WTF! This application SUCKS! I can still edit my application after paying...so I wonder if payment does actually = submit
A word of advice for anybody who just got the secondary and are thinking "WTF?!?!?!"- Its all about the pencil/paper icon.

I can't get rid of the error message when I try to apply the changes to the 2nd page either.
Also there is no fax option for sending the LORs when the directions state that this is acceptable.
Argh.
here's the 6 million dollar question: does the 1000 word limit apply to ALL essays (including hobbies and leadership positions), or just the 3 (why tulane, most meaningful exp, what specialty)?!?
talked to admissions today, you have successfully submitted your application when you apply changes to both pages and paid...once you get confirmation of payment you know you have submitted.

For those who have submitted this turd, was the 1000 character limit with or without spaces? I can't tell with the online thing, and I don't want to save or submit anything on accident.

I'm pretty sure when they say list, bullet points are fine. They would probably use a word like "describe" or "summarize" if they wanted more than that.
I would have been completely lost on this thing if I hadn't read these posts first. They should attach a link to this thread on their application instructions...
Hahaha...either that's really funny, or all these secondaries (this one in particular) has forced me to laugh at even the silliest of things.
Agreed on the ridiclousness of the secondary. Poorly organized, right upt here with UMASS. I'm just bulleting the "list" question.
I called about the word limit, she told me 4 lines.

Yeah, how much room do you get? I was about to submit but I reread through this thread and noticed I need to write about what I have done since I graduated. There's obviously a crapload I've done as a reapplicant (not to Tulane).

Hey, is tulane gonna send us an email notifying we are complete,? I really dont know if I submitted that secondary or not.
You get one line for the "Q2 Last attended activities" question. It's not even enough for a full sentence.
If it didn't error out, that means you were fine. For one of my essays, I got a cryptic error message, where the only decipherable part was something along the lines of "1004 current, 1000 allowable." Chopped off a few characters, and it saved fine.
