Just wanted to pop in and say good luck and God bless to everybody that is still waiting. I have given up on Drew. I interviewed on 11/15 and still haven't heard anything. Oh well. I pray that everybody who hasnt heard anything yet will receive the desires of their heart. I always check in on this thread to see how everybody is doing. I look forward to reading about yall's success. God bless!

Yeah, I interviewed on March 21st. Teresa told me over the phone that they would have a decision by April 20th.
 
Hi everyone. I just got back from vacation and found a nice thin letter from Drew waiting for me. I was really hoping to at least make it to the waitlist. Thanks for all the great posts from everyone on this thread! The people who have interviewed at Drew are truly amazing people, no matter what their final decision is. I wish everyone still waiting the best of luck!
 
Sorry about all those posts yall. My phone was trippin and I didnt think it was sending the post thru. I apologize for that.

i feel your pain man..i got the same situation
 
I was told class is full.
 
I just called again and was told that the class is NOT full as of yet. Ms. Rodriguez said there is still no decision on my file...

waiting patiently...🙄
 
Two opposite statements, the class is full:the class is not full... Does anyone know if it really is full or not? And if not, how many seats are left?

Merissa 87 did they tell you when they would have a decision on your file?
 
I think the drew office staff just tells people what they want to hear in order to satisfy the caller and get them off the phone quick, like i was told a decision hadnt been made on my file even though a rejection letter had already been sent the day before I called.
 
She said I would know something by next friday. Anyways..I'm going to call back on Monday for sure so I'll be sure to post what my findings are.

call back in JUNE? i thought final decisions are suppose to be made by april 20th...i guess ur in good shape..its code word meaning ur waitlisted...to see if u get off the waitlist by june
 
OMG in June!!! I have a feeling I'm waitlisted too based on what she said to me yesterday on the phone. But according to last years waitlsit thread, many people declined their spot at Drew to attend another school and alot of people got off the waiting list, hopefully this happens this year again!!!

Praying for ALL of us!!!

I'm pretty sure he was trying to say he wasn't offered an acceptance/waitlist position and Sandy told him to get feedback on his application in June.

The question is, if they have made rejections, haven't they already decided who is in and who is waitlisted?
 
Sorry for the confusion, I was rejected after my second time interviewing and called to ask why and what else I can do. Sandy told me the class is full and if I want feedback on my file, I should call back in June.
 
I got in today! I got the call this morning. Can't believe it. UCLA or Drew/UCLA hmmmmm?

Take the UCLA spot so we all have a better chance of getting into Drew 🙂
 
i got into UCLA last month and accepted. I'm torn. I love both
 
They were reviewing files in the order of interview dates. If I interviewed Jan 24th and havent heard anything and someone who interviewed on March 10 was accepted should I just consider that a rejection?
 
You're very lucky to have that decision to make, ymack. Congrats! Maybe she tells accepted applicants more information, next time you speak with her, could you ask her how many spots are taken thus far?

I dont think you should consider yours a rejection. Just hold on a lil bit longer. Now me on the other hand, I definitely consider mine a rejection. Seeing as how I interviewed in November.
 
BD2B - If yours was for sure a rejection you would have recieved a letter by now, especially since you interviewed back in November.

Someone should call and really find out if the class is full. I can't call anymore, I literally BLOW up Sandy's line...she probably knows my number#!!

Kippocalypse has volunteered to let us know after his visit on 24th as to how many seats are filled. Let us wait it out
 
Has anyone got a waitlist letter so far? Any more acceptances today except ymack?

congrats, ymack! if i may, it seems you already made your decision...if you have to ask yourself which program to attend, then maybe UCLA is the way to go because Drew is so specialized and most people know immediately whether or not it's for them. If you go to UCLA, you get the same stuff and can probably still do underserved stuff if you so choose. I know it's a tough decision, and one that you're lucky to have to make!
 
How come everyone is so quiet at Drew? Any calls, letters, phone calls with Sandy?

Nope, I called Sandy Again, she said a decision has still not been made. I asked her again if the class was full and she said No. So looks like we're carrying the waiting on into next week.
 
Yesterday's sermon at church was about being patient and teaching yourself to wait on God. I have to learn that things don't happen on my time schedule but on God's time schedule. There is a reason he is forcing me to be patient and wait on Drew, I may think that they are going to slow but its all a part of God's plan. So with this said, I won't be calling and harassing Sandy or anyone else at Drew. I'm going to be patient and wait on my blessing whatever It may turn out to be, rejected, waitlisted or accepted. Whatever response I get from Drew I know it was in Gods plans.

I just talked to Taresa today at the Medical Student affairs office, and she said that if decisions are sent out today, it wouldnt be until 2pm. Otherwise I am going to call her back tomorrow. There was no definite answer as to when decisions would be sent.
 
Does that mean all decisions will be sent out today?
 
thats what it sounded like, but she said they had not got any info from the Adcom still, so Im not sure. I would say most likely not. Sandy responded to my email today saying that no decision had been made on my file, but she would notify me when they did have a decision. Everything is so wishy washy, I wish they could just tell us a date...

We've been posting so much I feel like I am getting to know you guys. I had a dream last night that I met everyone on this thread! Weird... maybe sdn is just consuming my life, or this application cycle is really getting in my head... Anyways, maybe it was a positive premonition that we really will meet. I'm still keeping the hope alive. 👍
 
I know, I feel the same way. Drew is my #1 choice and God knows where my heart is. I am in LOVE with the school, program and the city. I really hope that we all get our hearts desires in this process🙂
