CAP'd today- complete in mid-November.
Hi! Sorry I guess I've spent enough time on this forum to be that annoying person who uses acronyms without explaining them haha... >.< I understand CAP to stand for competitive applicant pool, a term used by other schools?... So that if you get an email saying you're still under consideration (as I did today), you're in the pool of people who might get an interview invite. From what others posted in this thread, it looks like you can't get invited for an interview here without getting "CAP'd" first. What do you mean by "CAP'd today"?

When were you complete?Hi! Hey ya'll, so I am waiting to hear a decision from RFU but if accepted or waitlisted I will decline. I apologize to anyone still waiting for an interview, but hopefully I can help someone in the future get an acceptance or get off the waitlist. Or I'll get rejected and leave more acceptances for others! Either way good luck to you all, Thanks for all your help @tantacles I had a good experience at RFU and would have been happy to attend.
Agreed. If they offer you a seat right off the bat and you decline, that's one acceptance that would have gone out to somebody else at that time. Might save someone from getting waitlisted. The curiosity is strong though I'm sure hahaYou should definitely just withdraw now if you know you're not going to attend! It may seem like a small courtesy, but every medical school scrambles to fill spots with people they know will attend the school. If that's not you, it's totally ok, but it would be a great move for you to withdraw preemptively rather than wait for the school to accept, waitlist, or reject you.
omg just send me an interview or reject me already..
Does anyone know the percentage of people that get small pooled?
Complete since early October and still nothing. Does RFU accept transcript updates?
Has anyone been accepted recently?
Bummer, sorry to this hear that!Just received a rejection letter. Kind of bummed - RF would have been my first choice. Was the first school that talked to me about being a gay student in positive/value add terms instead of "don't be out in your application" terms.
Good luck everybody else.
@BlackBox so they responded to my email today saying that they usually responds from 6-8 weeks, but it COULD take longer, and " The Committee meets once a month to review applications, so you should be receiving communication from us soon"
Hopefully they do get to our interview date soon!

In state, science gpa ~3.6, mcat 30, masters degree in public health, i manage 3 clinical programs at a Chicago non profit clinic and long volunteer history with healthcare in Chicago. I thought my interviews went very well in November.
I don't want to sound like a jerk but i thought I genuinely had a good shot. I guess my shot wasn't good enough.
Accepted today, interviewed 12/13, 3.9, 34
Congratulation!!!
Was your acceptance by email or official letter?
I interviewed in March last year. I believe they go until the end of Aprilsorry in advance if this has been answered before, but does anyone know when they interview til? Been small pooled for quite a while now
Unfortunately not. You have to call them to inquire about your status. Have you gotten a "small pool" email?I've been complete since early October and haven't heard anything since. Is there a page where we can check our status?
I see. No I haven't received anything except for the complete email. I will give them a call Monday. Thank you!!I interviewed in March last year. I believe they go until the end of April

Interview invite today. Dates are for MWF through March 10. I was small pooled back in August, so don't give up yet! Haha. 3.6/34.
Since I just got accepted to a school higher on my list, I will withdraw once I receive the official letter. Hopefully someone here gets my spot!
You won't get an official letter for interview invitation. So you can just email them to decline the interview.
Unfortunately not. They don't accept any update letters or letters of interest prior to interviewingIs there anything we can do once we get small-pooled? Is it worth sending a letter to tell them we are still interested? (I got small pooled about 2 months ago and haven't heard anything)
It can't hurt, but I don't think that the person you'd be speaking with has any control over II or decisionsIs it worth a phone call? Like to just say "hey i wanted to see my status and let you guys know I am still interested in going"? Or not really gona make a difference?

Do you guys know how they rate each candidate after the interview? Do they put a score on each individual? During my interview, my interviewer said that they rank the interviewees that they interview…but how will they compare among different interviewers? Does anyone know?
