I received an interview invite for August 1st today. However, I emailed them to reschedule because it conflicts with my job.

My first one! I'm so excited =)

Hopefully they understand!

Anyone from last year's wait list get an II yet?? I was wait listed last year and was told that people who met the committee score would be guaranteed an interview.. any validation to that? submitted secondary 7/5/13

I got 2 days after. It said someone informed me you have not received this email. And then below was all the info.

Thanks for the information. I guess I will be patient. I am OOS so I would like to book a cheaper flight rather than an expensive flight later!

FYI to those still pending. I heard back from admin office and they said that the app show as pending unless you are invited for interview...

Umm there's also another status "Under Review" with this note

"Your status will remain Under Review until you are either invited for an interview or your application is released (end of December). The Office of Admissions does not provide applicants any further information concerning your application when you are in the Under Review status. If you are UNDER REVIEW, then the Office of Admissions has received all of your application materials."

So I think they were wrong?

Mine said pending until I had everything turned in, then went to under review. I was invited for interview but it still says under review.

Just FYI, if you indicated on your TMDSAS that you'd be retaking the MCAT at a later date, then your application won't be under review till that score comes in. At that point your application will be complete.

I didn't indicate a retake, so maybe they just haven't gotten to it

Try calling admissions if you haven't done so already because that's seems a bit strange. They are pretty responsive with this stuff.

Guys websites need maintenance just like everything else. No need to run on here and panic every time the page doesn't load. If it doesn't work for you, then it doesn't work for everyone else; the Internet is universal.

These sort of SQL errors are uncommon, especially if you have accessed the website before. However, if that is they case then here is your only plan of action:

-option 1: close out the browser completely
-option 2: clear cache
-option 3: wait

Come to think of it, most of the posts about the website being down occur on the weekends, coincidence?

Lol. Good to know. I was mainly worried because I had to get my computer wiped recently and my version of Chrome has not been the same after re-downloading it. I've had that same screen show up multiple times on a lot of different sites recently and was checking to see if it was A&M's server or something that was on my end.

I just submitted the form requesting a later date so, they have yet to contact me back. Hopefully I can get it rescheduled for some time mid to late august. I'll keep you updated.

Aren't they supposed to tell us like 3 weeks in advance??

I just got off the phone with them myself because I still hadn't received instructions. The lady said that they had had some IT issues when one of the batches of interviews were sent out and not everyone got their follow up email.

So if you haven't gotten a followup after a few days, call!

Yeah I called and they said if I reschedule it would have to be for September 5th, wtf. Annoying. I wanted to practice with some doctors/university advising office members but I don't think I'll even have time for that since they usually require you make the appointment 1-2 weeks in advance. So frustrating man

Haha, still deciding whether I should postpone or not. Although Foster is ranked higher on my list than A&M, so I guess this interview could be good practice for it
