Temple. Everyone was super friendly, and the fact that the interview is at the end of the day is perfect since your stress levels continue to go down as the day progresses

Happy to see everyone with IIs. Hope to join you all soon. I was reading last years thread and it seems interview location is based only on which site grabs your app first. Any idea if this is true this year? I wonder if students get a chance to tour all the sites before having to commit.

Last year they offered to let us schedule to attend an interview day at CS if you interviewed at Temple (and vice versa) so you could see both campuses. You would attend all the morning stuff and just not do the interview portion.

I called them and they told me I am scheduled for CS, but I can change it to Temple because it might be more convenient.

I think both will give you a good orientation but regardless of which you choose, do the second look because they both have slightly different feels...

I wrote about a time where I fought for something that I knew had to be done to insure the safety of people I was in charge of. I think you can write about any time that you stood firm for what you believed to be right when others were trying to get you to yield.

I wrote about that the honor code encompasses - integrity, truth, responsibility,etc... and then gave an example of each one and how it reflected that trait.

I am from OOS also. When I interviewed in Temple, I flew into the DFW airport (flights were cheapest into DFW). Then I rented a car and drove down to Temple, which was a 2 hour drive. The car had unlimited miles and by renting an economy car I only spent about $40 in gas and $50 for the car rental.

DFW will most likely be the cheapest but you can try Austin to compare at least. Waco maybe too?

I highly recommend looking at both campuses, as well as getting a feel for realestate in the area (how close it is to school, how close it is to grocery stores, a gym, etc). In the end you're getting the same education at both places, but it's the little things that'll determine how your average day will flow.

probably a technical error with the website. It was down for a few days last week.

Absolutely not a rejection. I would try again tomorrow and if you're still having trouble then get in contact with someone.

If going Southwest, then yeah, Austin has a hub there, but if going another carrier, go to DFW...also if you go to DFW, make sure to stop by a town a bit south of Hillsboro named West (famous for that fertilizer plant explosion), there is a Shell station that has a bakery attached called the Czech Stop...good kolaches 😀

It'll be a mistake I'd call if it's still not up and running today. BAMF in notoriously full of glitches...

PS A&M doesn't reject you...it just doesn't accept you (soft rejections) so don't worry about that just now..it's a long waiting game 🙂

its a 3 point difference. At the higher end of scores, it stops being a big deal.

I can answer this since I just did it.

Send in the new transcript. They'll add it in themselves. You can't edit it yourself so they'll just do it manually.

I didn't need to. I submitted my app when all my grades were in. I would just send them an updated transcript or an update letter.

Have it sent to TMDSAS, they'll update A&M. You could email A&M to let them know if you wanted to but it's not necessary.
