yeah basically identical apps lol what was your majorSoutheast US... yep seems very similar lol
Psychology with Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience, you?
Math minor? Props to you. I was math first, and Linear Algebra kicked my butt. I should have been psych from the get go, I like it a lot more, and it is a lot more applicable. I also have more fun in this major.
Padres fan lol. That sounds like a joke.
I have a question about filling out courses, and this applies to some other schools' secondaries as well. Quinnipiac requires 1 year of English, but I placed out of Composition 1 and was placed right into Composition 2 my freshman year. I didn't take AP English in high school, though. So technically, I have one semester (or 1/2 year) of English. Any advice on how to fill it out?
Thanks and good luck to all!
BTW I'm a Nets fan (lol born and raised in NJ)
Hello,
You have a couple options.
1. You can call them up and just ask them what they prefer. I'm sure some schools are more lenient about their academic requirements than others.
2. Most schools care about the credit you got on your transcript. Do you have credit for both English classes (total of 6-8 credits)?
3. If you are still in school and are a senior this year you can always pick up an easy English class to fill the spot in.
Good luck!
good luck!Applying with cGPA 3.9, sGPA 3.8 MCAT 30 (10/10/10)

Ahhh okay, thanks!I am not URM. I honestly wouldn't worry now and just try to be patient. If you look through last years threads, they gave out II as late as March.
So for the first question, are we just supposed to what field of medicine we are interested in? So if I'm interested in EM, do I say that and state my reasons? I've always thought you weren't' supposed to speak about a specific specialty.
i wrote about my 'current interest' in academic medicine but acknowledged that I am not completely sure what field i want to specialize in yetSo I wrote about a specific interest in oncology and global health and what I could want to do with that. I know that it was really specific, but they asked for how I envision myself. I know people get worried about not writing primary care for quinnipiac, but I got an II, so I think they just want you to be honest and have reasons for what you want to do.
