Friday night on Halloween weekend?! Haha someone is scheduling the invites to go out at odd-ass times.
That was fast.An II for Hopkins just landed in my inbox! I submitted my application 9/17, and was complete 9/30.
Well, I'm certainly not complaining! 😛That was fast.
I pretty much just picked randomly amongst the male first year students. All students on the list have volunteered to be hosts so I'm sure they're all great. So I have a question: how did everyone go about picking a student host? I know none of these people, and it seems like only a handful of undergraduate schools are represented (which of course does not include mine).

same happened to me just now.Did it take anyone else a month for their application fee to be processed? I just got the update that my application is complete even though I submitted at the beginning of October :/
Yep, unfortunately. Is there a separate complete email they send out other than the "Thank you for submitting your on-line application to The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine" email?
II just now! Complete late august, assigned interview date next week. Do they always schedule so close to the invite?
The date they first give you is always really close. But you should call and reschedule if its inconvenient/prohibitively expensive for you to travel that day. The email sounds scary but it will be fine.
Correct. Although interview invite time could varySo just to recap: The submission date is different than the complete date, and the average application is marked complete ~3 or so weeks after submission (of secondary and all materials). And II time after officially being marked complete by the office occurs about 3-6 weeks... Correct?
I ask because I'd rather not hassle the admissions office with "why am I not marked complete because it's been a while" but am also acutely aware of the fact we are midway through November...
Statsss, plz.II !! 🙂
complete date?521 MCAT (99th % if you don't know the weird-ass new scaling system), 3.90 sGPA, 3.75 cGPA, from a top 25 undergrad, decent amount of clinical and research experience but nothing too earthshattering (no publications, etc)
complete date?
Can you send any update to JHU? I emailed admission office and they said they don't accept any update after AMCAS submission.
Post II Updates are permitted. Can you send any update to JHU? I emailed admission office and they said they don't accept any update after AMCAS submission.
Yeah. But that's how most people are for most schools.Anyone completed back in July still waiting to hear back? I have heard nothing from them. No Reject, No II, Nada.
Ms. MazzaWho are post-interview updates sent to?
Congrats. Do you mind sharing when you were complete?II as well this evening!

Is Johns Hopkins receptive to ITA/"In the Area" emails?
