Wow that's pretty exciting, we'll be hearing back really soon.

This school seemed to really care about its students and has great facilities and professors. However, did anyone else who interviewed feel a bit lonely while on campus? Maybe I just went on a bad day, but it didn't seem like there was much student activity going on. I know student life isn't a top priority but I do like to be in a more lively environment because it makes me feel happy and less lonely, haha.

It could just be the time they have us interview- eg. Maybe Friday is MeSH day- because there weren't even classes occurring on the day I was there. But every student we did see stopped to say hello, which has not been the case at all the schools I interviewed at.

This was my first interview, so I had to iron out my interview kinks and I hope it didn't hurt me too much. Good luck everyone!!

Definitely second that it could've been the day you interviewed. I interviewed in mid-August, and there were a ton of students around, and our tour guide was constantly waving hello to someone. I wouldn't worry about feeling lonely at Netter 🙂

This is probably just wishful thinking, but October 16th was a Thursday last year, so maybe if they go by day of the week, it will be October 15th this year...

I think if you called their office they'll openly tell you what date acceptances go out haha.

I think I'm more nervous than excited! Weeks and weeks of waiting for either really good news or really bad news. Guess I'll just have to be positive for a few more days..

Not sure, but from what I've read here I'm assuming they have about 2 interview dates per month. They started on August and they'll probably interview until Feb or March, considering that the holidays are coming up I'd guess that there are probably 8-10ish. Then again, this may be totally wrong.

Yeah your probably right. Maybe they started out with two to three per month and they're planning on having many more in the months to come!

I know for sure there were more than 2 or 3 in August because of the dates I saw offered when I signed up for mine.

It's probably about 6 a month. If they want to interview close to 600 in 8 months and there were 12 people at the interview then they need 6 per month

Do you guys know how many interviews they are planning for this cycle? Last year it was around 667, but I know they are increasing the class size this year.

Oh wow, I didn't realize how many people they interview. I wonder what the post interview acceptance rate is

Edit: If they interview the same number of people per spot, they will interview 900

It's 11am where I'm at too, and I've gotten a decision from a school in the same time zone 😛 I interviewed here 2 months ago, so I'm certain that my decision is sitting somewhere and just waiting for someone to press a button and send it.

Just to ease some people's minds... I interviewed the 4th or 5th date and they said the very soonest we would hear is October 16th. Not sure if that's the same for all interviews.

Why, OH WHY, did they not tell my group that? I interviewed in late August, and the most specific they got was "a few days within Oct 15." I wonder what the reason is for releasing acceptances on the 16th instead of the 15th?

Maybe their meetings are on Thursdays?

I'm probably being extremely cynical, but I kind of wonder if they're waiting for October 16th because it's a Friday. I specifically remember a bunch of my undergrad admissions decisions coming out on Fridays at 5:00 or 6:00 pm, and I remember at the time thinking that they probably did that so they wouldn't have to field a bunch of angry phone calls from people who had just opened a rejection letter 5 minutes ago.

No idea. I'm in the same boat though. Don't really want to shell out more money for interviews

Based on past threads, people should've heard back by now? Who wants to call the admissions office and ask when they're releasing decisions?

Same, at the very end. Wondering how frequently I should be checking my email today....They did say late October at my day though so I'm thinking today may be too early.

Also, did anyone's status on the portal change after their interview? Mine still says "Interview schedule for ____" but no green check or anything...

Right, I remember the dean also saying that decisions would be out late October...but one can hope. My portal looks like yours, no change.

That's where I stand right now, and I interviewed 10/9. Something tells me that interviews after mid September will have results at the end of the month.
