What if @beeboops is just trolling us and he didn't actually call and we actually won't get our decision today, and he is just making us look like fools??? Feels bad man. 🙁
 
I'm gonna hypothesize that they got a bunch of people who interviewed withdrawing after being accepted elsewhere. Now they are going to spend the weekend reshuffling the acceptances, giving us a better chance of being accepted. Go us!

...or they are toying with us by creating a build up that makes getting waitlisted all the more disappointing.
 
Anybody else want to make a last ditch effort and give them a call?

Honestly that would be awesome and worth the extra days wait. There's a huge wave of applicants of other schools who've already heard back with acceptances and have withdrawn from Quinnipiac. So QU's committee probably realizes that and is waiting to pull off the acceptances for those students and give it to some others. That's great for us, especially if QU was planning on waitlisting us.
 
So...what's everyone's plans for the weekend?

Gotta pass the time between now and Monday somehow, right? 🙂
 
I'm going to be at an interview all day today, so if y'all need to call the admissions office, don't look at me 😛

I think it's generic, but who cares! Incredibly exciting anyway 😀

FWIW, besides all the stuff about requirements, mine says "Based on our review of your application, the Admissions Committee believes that you possess the characteristics needed to become a superb physician and that you will enrich our school culture."

Alternate listed 🙁 the second MD school to do this
 
Waitlisted, but already accepted into higher choices on my list. Hope the spot goes to somebody who is a better fit.

Do you guys think that the high acceptance rate here reflects the fact that we interviewed so early (August/September)? Early = more spots, and also that we were chosen to interview in July meaning they are more interested in our applications? Just wondering. Congrats to all those accepted!

Accepted by email today!!!!! Interviewed 10/2, that was a really quick turnaround. Although I have other schools I would attend over here, I think I would really enjoy it here too! First acceptance, so I'm just relieved more than anything!!!

I interviewed in late August and heard back today like everyone else. I'm sure they just haven't gotten to your application!

I've also been accepted into my state school, which is much cheaper than Netter. But I love the curriculum and program here so much. Should I hold my acceptance to see if I can get scholarships?

Me! Actually, don't know yet for sure. I have another acceptance, and waiting to hear back from several more in the coming weeks and months! But I did get a really good feeling from Quinnipiac when I was there, and I could tell I would be really happy there!

I assumed that apps were reviewed chronologically based on when people interviewed...but I'll take a silence over rejection. :xf:
