2015-2016 Rosalind Franklin University Application Thread

Don't they interview on Fridays? Seems like Admissions usually has their hands tied on those days, so maybe tomorrow is more likely. Definitely sick and tired of speculating though.

Sent in secondary 7/16, complete email 8/14 after I called to ask about my status. I was told that they had just forgotten to send me the email, so may have been complete earlier? Not sure. Still silence though. Over 4 months since I sent in the secondary...not sure what to expect anymore.

IS; 31; 3.83 cGPA; 3.79 sGPA

Rejected them before they could get rid of me.... Was complete late July and got sick of waiting.

Is it fair to call if it's been longer than that 8-10 weeks from the complete email??

Rejected today! Complete 9/17. OOS (international, actually) , 31, 3.79 GPA (science GPA >3.8)

Best of luck to those still in the running!

I want to call them since I know there is a very slim chance that they are going to meet the deadline of 11/20 that they gave the previous poster, but I know they are getting a lot of calls with regards to this delay so I don't want to add to the call volume.

lol they interview every Friday... It will always be next week.

Just for clarification - there's no interview date scheduled for the 27th. While most interview dates are Friday, we do interview Wednesdays as well.

If no one reports back with any news today, I'm definitely calling tomorrow.

Sorry to hear. Good luck with your other schools, it is tough for everyone, but especially us internationals!

Everyone should call them whether it's for post-ii decisions or pre-ii past 10 weeks. Their entire secondary was only 200 words. There is no excuse for it taking this long or to acknowledge the delay with an email to applicants. Also, with 12,500 applicants and a $125 fee, that's over $1.5 Million. Use that money and staff up.

If we all barrage them with calls and emails, maybe they'll get their s**t together.

True. Remember the guy who posted a few weeks ago saying he was accepted?

EL. OH. EL.

Do you think there's any hope for decisions for people who interviewed late october?
I dont see why not. last year the first wave of acceptances/holds came out in late october and people from early october heard back. But who knows.

Decision: Alternate list. I'm hearing sad trumpets right now wompwompwooomp
Interview Date: 9/11
Stats: LizzyM <65

Is there a difference between a hold and the alternate list?

If i remember correctly, Alternate list means you are on the waitlist. On hold means they actually haven't reviewed your app yet, and after you can be accepted, denied, or put on alternate list.

So looking at the number of "on hold"s, basically is it there way of telling us they're still way behind on making a decision...

Yes I just interviewed there at end of October and they explained in detail, the 4 possibilities post-II:

On hold = they just did not have time to assess you post II

Alternate list = you are on the waitlist

Accepted or Rejected

Don't worry, the wait list has a lot of movement!!! You could get an acceptance any time!!! Best of luck.

Question: do they tell you your ranking on the wait list?
Alternate list is "rankless"- you can be notified 1 week into the school year.
