You can't and noHow can I check my application status? Is there a way to access the application after you submit it?
Unfortunately you just have to wait. As long as you got a confirmation email you're fine. How can I check my application status? Is there a way to access the application after you submit it?
im sorry to hear that! When were you complete?Rejected 29 and 3.9. Bummer 🙁
Rejected . Sigh 🙁
3.54 / 31
complete email 8/12
reapplicant (not to the school though )
I got rejected too D:
beforeSorry! Hope you get other acceptance coming your way!
Is this before interview or after?
I was complete 7/14 and haven't received a II or a rejection, so I don't think there is a normal response time. We just have to sit and wait unfortunatelyWhat's the normal response time from when you are complete for interviews? I submitted in August right after my MCAT score came out (July), and got my complete email 9/14. Stats are 3.94/3.88 c and sGPA, 513, IS/Chicagoland, with a decently good variety of EC's (Business Consulting, Research, Volunteer, Fraternity stuff). Seeing as interviews are scheduled for February already seems like the earliest I/everyone else might see is March.
Earliest possible day would be 10/15, but the last two years acceptances came on 10/29.Any acceptance here yet?
During my interview they told us we would hear back in 4-6 weeks. This week is the 5th week and so it is very possible we might get news tomorrow.Earliest possible day would be 10/15, but the last two years acceptances came on 10/29.
Same! We were likely in the same interview day. I'd be a little surprised if we heard tomorrow, but I would be very happy if that was the case 🙂.During my interview they told us we would hear back in 4-6 weeks. This week is the 5th week and so it is very possible we might get news tomorrow.
I interviewed on 9/4. That means tomorrow is the last day of week 6. Will they keep their word? We shall see!
Well thank you! Congrats on whichever acceptance inspired this withdrawal!I withdrew from my interview here, hopefully that'll open up a spot for you guys! Good luck!
With respect to the MMI interview format, I understand it's some kind of behavioral test, correct? What I"m curious about is, do they ask you about instances from your own life, like "tell us about a time you...." or is it an abstract scenario based interview, where they describe a scenario and ask you to to provide your thoughts about the scenario?
For confidentiality reasons, I'm not necessarily asking about the RFUMS but MMI in general.
dunno if you were referring to me (assuming that you were haha) but I have 2 years of TA-ing experience, 2 years of non-health related peer advising, over 1000hrs of shadowing, 1 year as VP of a mental health org, 1 year as a student justice on my school's SJPs, 3 years of research in a lab, ~200hrs of volunteering during school, annnnnd by July 2016 I'll have an additional ~1700hrs of volunteer experience as an AmeriCorps case manager. I'm OOS too with what I think is a bangin' committee letter. Honestly- I don't get it.
I've shadowed various docs, in clinical settings, for over 1000 collective hours. I've also volunteered at a hospital for about 100 hours. I think I have more than enough clinical experience!A serious lack of real clinical experience is what I noticed. Maybe consider working as a scribe or something.

You can call for the rest of us! 😀Sorta tempted to call and ask what the hold up is, considering they said 4-6 weeks and we're going on week 7 now. But tbh, I don't think I'd really go here even if I did get in.

I think she has another acceptance thoIf you get into this school and no other MD schools, you will; I'm graduating this year, and you wouldn't believe the residency interviews I'm getting. Yeah, from CMS. Who would have thought?
I think he has another acceptance tho
I don't think anyone is bashing, I personally was super impressed too!I don't know why so many people are bashing on this school. It is super high on my list. I was impressed by the facilities during interview and the students and faculty were awesome. The match rate is pretty impressive considering they don't have a hospital. I would be honored to go here and I am waiting to hear some good news this week.
I liked the school, but it's very expensive and I liked the other places I interviewed at more. I do already have an acceptance, but if I didn't, of course I'd go here if it was my only acceptance! If he/she won't be going to CMS anyway, he/she should withdraw. That's called etiquette.

The reason I'm not withdrawing yet is because if they do offer me any merit aid, I would definitely consider it more seriously. I don't see what's so rude about that.
I'm not sure I understand what that means/entails, but ok!My comment on your situation was hypothetical; I wasn't casting aspersion on your motives or strategy.
They have already rejected people, so they don't do silent rejects. I am not in-state, but have close ties to Chicago and I've been complete since 7/14. I think the silence means that maybe we are people they are holding in the wings to take the IIs of all the people who are withdrawingI am an in state student, and my application has been complete on 9/11.
----Does this school do 'silent rejections'? Or after how long do you think that I have no chance?
----Any IS have experience (with stats please) of the longest they had to wait for a reject/interview invite email?
----What application status updates are there other than interview invite and reject? Is there 'hold' or 'in review' etc etc?
You've only been complete for a little over a month. Wait for another few months before thinking about a rejection.I am an in state student, and my application has been complete on 9/11.
