For those of you thinking you'll hear back today, when were your interviews? They told us 6-8 weeks at the interview but I'm not entirely confident in that timeline being accurate.

They told me 4-6 weeks at my 9/4 interview.

Tomorrow, it'll have been eight weeks. That's why I think they're okay with calls, since they're so behind.

I looked back at my II email and they gave me the options of 9/4, 9/11, and 9/18 interview dates, so I would think that all three of these interview dates would probably be considered in this decision. Hopefully we hear today!

Last year people who interviewed in the first weeks of October also heard back. 10/2 here, fingers crossed

That's strange man, I submitted like a week after you and my completion email is dated the 24th of September.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason for when those emails get sent out...mine was dated two days after I submitted my secondary but other people who submitted before me didn't get the email until October. 😵

Yeah I really doubt it, things like LORs and scores will still matter

Other qualifications matter on top of the interview.

Since it's been 8 weeks and the email said 4-6, I figure it's reasonable. And like I said, they don't seem to mind. Last week when I called, they said they'd have 9/4 decisions out by yesterday, so....

Wait are you being serious? Haha I highly doubt that they ignore everything except for interview! That'd be crazy

Well it was said casually during lunch, one of the admissions people I sat with said something like "we truly do care about the people we accept. We don't tell this to everyone but once you've been invited for an interview, you will be accepted completely based on how you rank in the interview. You could have a 25 or a 35 but after the interview it doesn't matter"

This is getting inhumane. I feel even worse for those who interviewed the first week in September. They're doing another round of interviews today so it seems unlikely we'll hear back before next week. But it sure would be nice if we did...I have an interview on Monday I was hoping to cancel.
