^I interviewed on 11/16 and heard back this past Wednesday. I would give it some time!
 
ACCEPTED!!! :biglove::biglove::biglove:

I can't believe this actually happening!!! This acceptance means so much not only because now I can say I AM GOING TO BE A DOCTOR, but also because it is TULANE!!! This school was one of my top choices going into this cycle and my interview day only reinforced that feeing. I had the absolute BEST experience when I was there. The school, the city, the students and everything about it are absolutely wonderful. I cannot wait to fill out my MPH application soon! WOW! I am beyond excited!!!!

Interviewed 11/16. LM 70.
 
Has Tulane offered any merit scholarships yet? If not, does anyone know when that happens?

probably towards march and april when they know who holds other acceptances from other med schools

Ok I take it back, it's been almost a month and the wait is torture. Anyone who interviewed 11/12 hear back yet?

Does Tulane send an official letter packet following acceptance? I was accepted recently but have not received anything as of yet.

I got a letter in the mail a few days later, but it was just the same as the e-mail.

I also interviewed 11/12 and haven't heard back yet- ahhhh it would be so so exciting to get in here. I thought our interview day was amazing!
I think it just takes different amounts of time to review candidates but I still casually refresh my email 40 times a day in the meantime haha

Haha same, if I refresh my email 20 more times will the email magically appear? I think you're right and I hope we both hear soon! The interview was indeed amazing! Good luck to you! 🙂

I received a a letter of acceptance in the mail that was similar to the email, however the only packet I got was on interview day.
 
Anyone who interviewed 11/12 still not hear back? I'm starting to get a little nervous haha
 
did all the rejections come via e-mail or were some found on the portal?
 
In past years looks like people who interviewed around 12/7 heard back the week before Christmas! *crosses fingers*

You're applying for the 3rd time with a LizzyM score of 82? On my end, to have an 82 for a score, one needs a 41 MCAT & a 4.0 cGPA. You're telling me, you had that (at minimum), and no schools have talked to you? Things aren't adding up here. Did you make a mistake writing out your LM?
 
no mistake. I certainly have been spoken to. last year I had 8 interview invites by october... but this year im pretty certain I have an LOR or something that is doing SIGNIFICANT damage because ive only received one II. no rejections though. its weird. I kinda hung on to my secondaries a little bit...but really not that much. they were all in by the end of august at the latest. mostly mid august. I made the mistake of applying to too many top tier schools. I don't know who the hell I thought I was lol. I just became obsessed with some of the programs like the bassett program at columbia etc. but in reality i do not know how the hell I thought I was going to get in there. I put my eggs in the wrong baskets and I should have definitely applied to more schools that were actually reasonable. so I guess it's my fault this year. The fact that I am still scrambling to fill out a few secondaries should say it all...

EDIT: by the way that MCAT score was certainly not my first or second. not only that but it was the old MCAT and I just happen to be a teacher for the Kaplan course (practice enough and it's like any other test)... so the LM is actually further skewed toward the test than my GPA

sorry if this has been asked before, but how do we update our application with grades etc? my emails seem to self delete after a certain amount of time and I don't have any emails containing the link for the secondary application... could someone post it, if thats how we are supposed to update?
 
Just dumped as well. Would have loved to visit NOLA so now I need another excuse. LizzyM74. Complete in July.
