two days left for the last week of Jan to find out about interviews....the amount of nerves I have right now are infinity and beyond.
II today! Complete Early August. Not sure what to do because the interview day conflicts with something that I scheduled over a year ago.. Do you think it is possible to get moved to an earlier interview? (I know the January interview was rescheduled...)

If it's something that's really urgent and you can't reschedule what you scheduled over a year ago, you can ask VT if there is any possible way for you to come to next week's (Feb 5/6's) interview session, but if not, then Feb 20th is their last one and you have to stick to it.
Do all the interview invites for 2/20 go out on the same day?

My guess is they're going to try and get them all out today, but there is always the possibility that people decline their invitation and a spot opens up later

Hi, I am an OOS student, and I just got an II for VTCSOM. I happen to be visiting nearby this Sunday 1/31, so I was hoping to visit the school at this time to look around and maybe even talk to a few students about their experience. Has anyone else been able to visit on a day other than an interview day (as in, is this even allowed, either formally organized with admissions or informally just wandering around inside the building and campus)? Are there any current students willing to give a short tour or just meet up there to talk? Thanks and good luck to all.

you can ask admissions, they may be able to put you in touch with someone and offer advice!
Definitely contact admissions. I'm a current student, and the building is usually closed on Sunday, but it's worth it to ask. I'm sure they'll set you up with someone 🙂
Thank you all! I did email admissions, but I thought I would post on here to also see if anyone else had done something similar..I hope it works out! But yes, good to know about it being closed on Sundays...I figured that'd be a problem but then again, some med school buildings are open 24/7 so I wasn't sure. I'll be an 1/1.5 hrs away near VT main campus so I figured it wouldn't be worth the trip if I'm not able to get inside to see it or if there won't be any students to speak with. Am I missing any major reasons or benefits for why I should still visit nonetheless?
We're technically open 24/7 (with access cards). It wouldn't be worth it if you couldn't see the building. If you have any questions, let me know, and I'll try to answer them!
@WishingAndWaiting Could you or other current students describe what a typical day or typical week at VTC is like? I'm trying to get a sense of the kind of schedule that students have, and I wasn't able to find much on the website or on previous threads. Thank you!
Very sad I didn't get an II yesterday 🙁 good luck to everyone who did, show them that late interviewees are even more awesome than the early ones!

Same here dude and it sucks big time. What other schools you got left? I plan on lifting heavily to cope with the depression from all this application bull**** and I'll need a med school workout buddy
Admissions office told me that for the last interview day they only fill exactly the number of slots available instead of overbooking like usual. Therefore there may still be an opportunity!
Not too many man haha. But thank god all this disappointment's happening during bulking season, definitely been eating my feelings away...
I've just been eating desserts, tonight is no exception since I have heard nothing from VTC. 🙁

Does anyone know when they are sending out the next round of acceptances?
In my interview we were told they will look at the "January-rescheduled-to-February" group and the (real) February group and then send out the acceptances for those two interviews in March, approx. 4 Wednesdays after the (real) February group finishes.
We were also told they will likely post on sdn before they start making the calls and again when all the calls have gone out.
so basically they are done giving out interview invites right?

hey, if you havent gotten into any medical school and this is your only Interview Invite, you should go!
