2016-2017 Tulane University Application Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
o snaps! got dat green check mark today 😱 sensing imminent rejection...

Can any of the students who received an II comment on how long it was between Green Check and II?

anyone else stuck on the red mark still? how long should we wait till we need to worry

I am wondering this, too!

Although, I am just going to assume it's the 17th... seems like that is what most schools are doing. One of the schools I interviewed at said according to AAMC traffic rules, they are actually not supposed to do it on the weekend.
This is KILLING me lol - most agonizing week of my life

decisions will be released on the 17th according the the schoools I have interviewed at.

The Tulane interview is pretty laid back and chill. All three parts are fairly laid back and conversational. AVOID Bourbon street, and visit frenchmen instead. Bourbon street is way shady.

Has there been a decent amount of II given to those who have not submitted Casper? I don't think I did too well on it and am hesitating on submitting it but I've been complete for almost a month now and getting worried..

Submitted secondary 8/11/16, marked complete 9/1/16 (due to waiting on a LOR), and I saw the green check mark yesterday (10/13/16). I had not viewed the portal in 2-4 weeks though so I'm not sure how long it's been there.

Edited for grammar.

"Accepted Range". Pretty bummed as I thought the interview went well enough
Interviewed 9/26

Does anyone know if the $100 commitment deposit is refundable? Just curious.

AMCAS Traffic rules: "Each school's pre-enrollment deposit should not exceed $100 and (except for EDP applicants) be refundable until April 30. If the applicant enrolls at the school, the school should credit the deposit toward tuition. All schools should not to require additional deposits or matriculation fees prior to matriculation." So yes, refundable.
