does anyone know if we have to do anything to accept the offer? Also, if we fill out the terms and conditions for matriculation form are we locked in?

At my interview a student told our tour group it is usually 5-7 points above the national average and quoted 235 for the year before him and he was a second year.

Not yet. I called the office this morning to inquire about how to hold the spot and they said just fill out all the tabs/forms in the portal. No deposit is required at this point.Has anyone gotten the physical acceptance letters with instructions for holding a seat?
[email protected]For people who sent updates/LOI this week, what email address did you send it to?

Link to info?I think someone asked this earlier, second look is April 6 and 7, 2017. Just saw this on the pitt Med website. So psyched!!! And I hope I get to meet some of you
Just sent my love letter. Fingers crossed. Hopefully some good news in the next few months!

That's interesting that the waitlist isn't ranked. Not sure if that makes me feel better or worse.Same here! I also called to make sure they received it, and for anyone wondering, they let me know that the waitlists aren't ranked and that the admissions committee will be revisiting the waitlists in "early spring."

Will they tell us how many are on each tier? Also guessing early spring means early March? If only we knew how many people are in each tier!
Me too judging by the threads from the prior cyclesWill they tell us how many are on each tier? Also guessing early spring means early March?
Didn't someone say total acceptance was around 275 last year?Me too judging by the threads from the prior cycles

wow that's over 2.5x matriculation class size...Someone told me the US News data point was 390.
I feel like that's reasonable. Pitt is in an awkward position ranking wise, because it's not a well-known name. It's a top school with top applicants, but because of it's position people choose other schools.wow that's over 2.5x matriculation class size...
The more acceptances the merrier IMO 🙂I feel like that's reasonable. Pitt is in an awkward position ranking wise, because it's not a well-known name. It's a top school with top applicants, but because of it's position people choose other schools.
seems like the same pattern happens every cycleI feel like that's reasonable. Pitt is in an awkward position ranking wise, because it's not a well-known name. It's a top school with top applicants, but because of it's position people choose other schools.

Same, just dates for second look (April 6-7), whitecoat (Aug 13), info about pitt-med research experience for pre-matriculants (PREP), and how to accept offer (fill out admission data forms on portal)Yeah I got mine today too (OH resident). Pretty basic information (second look dates, white coat, etc). No mention of scholarship/financial aid but that could just be me.

I am sure they did. I sent one last week and got so paranoid I emailed and was told they received it. My guess is that a lot of people are probably sending them stuff haha. If you are super paranoid you can send an email.Sorry if this sounds neurotic but I'm wondering if anyone received any reply confirmation email or something after sending in a LOI? I'm just tryin to be sure that they received mine lol
Thanks for posting! Ugh l I don't have a fbk account right now, but do you mind telling me what info is being shared there? Thanks!!!Second look fb group link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1395352757176169/

I got the physical packet as well. Nothing about scholarship though...It seems like their scholarships are very competitive!
