Congrats! For which date?
I saw on some past forums people heard as early as October 15th. On our interview day they said they're shooting for October but could be November.

Yeah yesterday they definitely said they were aiming for October this year, so fingers crossed!

Do you guys think it would reflect negatively on an applicant to not attend the reception the night before the interview? It would be really difficult for me to get there in time...

I'm sure they are understanding about people having to travel from far away and not getting there in time, and I highly doubt anything at the reception has any influence on their admission decisions
Im not going to the reception either. I'm going to be in NY the day before LOL

I won't be going either FWIW
I may go but just to get food and bounce as quickly as possible, definitely won't be wearing 'business casual'. I'll be traveling a lot that day (God this place is the hardest to get to of my interviews so far), so I don't think I'll be in the mood to do anything but just rest in my room and sleep. I'm sure not going won't count against you, it wouldn't be fair.
I have an interview the day before and can't get into Roanoke until midnight. Didn't think this process was gonna be this stressful

I remember them saying October 15th and having that date in the presentation, so I'm thinking we should hear tomorrow. But this process is so unpredictable, so you never really know.

I doubt they'll make calls over the weekend 🙁 But it could be any time next week.... Or the week after. So, yes, you never really know.
last year, the next batch went out about a week from today, so maybe it'll be around the same time this year.
My friend called and they said next week they'll be making calls!
