Does anyone have the match list typed out? On their website they have the video of the whole match day, but I don't necessarily want to sit and watch it all

I just saw the video where they stand in front of everyone and read where they're going.... I don't think I am physically capable of doing that.

My favorite was the couple that matched at Johns Hopkins one into Internal Medicine and the other into Neurosurgery!! The guy who matched into neurosurgery was a ball of emotion, and I can only imagine how that must have felt.

Haha I know, I was getting emotional watching it. I actually do kind of like that everyone gets their moment in front of the class on match day, despite how nerve wracking and emotional it must be

Yeah it seems like a really nice time. And for those who are to nervous to say it in front of everyone they give you the option not too. Plenty of people said they were gonna open the letter later with family. One guy even left through the back door after getting his letter 🤣

Not to put a damper on the hope here, but I was told by an adcom that those on hold (i.e. those that interviewed a while ago, not recently) would probably start hearing back after the final adcom meeting, ~April 5th. 🙁 So we've probably got a little bit longer to hang on here, but soon-ish! :nailbiting::dead:

Not to sound too neurotic, but how recent is considered recently? If I interviewed at the end of February, would that be recent or am I probably on hold?

That would be very recent. They haven't discussed most end of february/march interviewees yet

Looking at last year’s thread, a huge wave of decisions came out late March followed by a wave of waitlists in early April. It doesn’t look like either one of these has happened yet this cycle.

Have waitlist decisions started going out?

Not that I am aware. Dartmouth uses a ranked list. After your interview, your application is given a composite score, and applicants are ranked based on the score. On a rolling basis throughout the cycle, applicants with the highest rank are admitted. The rest of us are on hold until all applicants are reviewed, scored, and ranked. After the final list is generated, I believe more admissions offers will go out, some rejections will go out, and the rest will be waitlisted.

At least, I know this is how it works for the MD-PhD program. I believe the MD program uses a similar system, though there could be some differences.

Hi, Billy M1 here with the answers to some of your Geisel questions!

I was a little sad that we dropped in the rankings this year, but the match list was fire as usual. Geisel seems to have a great reputation clinically and punches above its weight class when it comes to where people match, which is a part of why I chose it over some more highly ranked schools.

Kind of annoyed that they don't make this information easily accessible to y'all - I think it's potentially an important factor in your decision, so here you go:

Hi Billy Mays HERE!

Waitlisted as well, last December. Surprised honestly as I think I've done pretty ****ty job at the interview haha

Got the waitlist here as well interviewed early Jan. I’ll be accepting the WL position. Hopefully movement begins soon. Though at least now I don’t need to get a tattoo at this point lol. I needed a win this time but being on so many WL might work out who knows.

Does anyone know how the waitlist works here? Is not getting the WL notif post interview bad news?

Here is the attachment they sent with the email. No idea if it's good or bad news but I doubt they sent all their waitlists today

waitlist email this am, interviewed late September (still amused at this).

*waits almost 8 months*
“Sorry, you’re gonna have to wait on our waitlist for another month and a half (at least).”

Sorry bud and to everyone who was waitlisted

Also waitlisted after interviewing mid-Feb. Does anyone know the chances of being accepted from the WL?
