How can I withdraw my pre-II hold?

Just email admissions that you’re not interested and have an offer somewhere else. They would withdraw your application.

Their winter break starts next week, but last year they sent out emails a few days before Christmas...so hopefully we hear back. Decisions might be released tomorrow as well.

Thanks to everyone who responded. Gives some better insight...I had to re-read my pre-II hold email twice as well.

Complete: 12/1 (cause of CASPAR -___- but I submitted everything else 10/24)
Pre-II Hold: 12/13

Seems like they just haven't gotten around to reviewing all the apps yet and someone mentioned it seems like an automatic email to those who haven't been sifted through yet. I'm inclined to agree.

I also received an II today, and did not receive the hold email that went out last week. So for those of you that didn't get anything last week, hold onto your hope!!

I'm assuming we will hear by the end of this week. Admissions probably wants to get decisions out before they go on break. According to what's been posted here, only rejections and waitlists from 10/27 and some dates after have gone out. No acceptances yet.

Still no Pre-II hold. Complete 10/11, submitted secondary on 8/16 but forgot to send CASPer. Its at the 10 week mark for me so who knows. I dont know if they will be sending out IIs with people traveling for the holidays.

it seems that those who got the II this week did not get the hold email from last week. I'd imagine those receiving the hold email (myself included) from last week probably won't hear any new updates until after the holidays.

Yeup that's accurate. Pretty much you were put on multiple mailing lists if you released your MCAT scores to schools. Don't read too much into other degree emails.

The afternoon session is from 1-5 PM. Until 5:30 PM if you stay for food and talk to students/faculty.
