Complete 8/3 still in silence. Just called admissions to check status or if they need anything else from me. She said it's still under review and committee doesn't tell them more info than that. She was saying to wait a few more weeks and call back to check if still no communication. Very nice overall

You should have received a complete email by now. I was complete in September after submitting my secondary in mid-August. I'd call the admissions office if I were you. Maybe you're missing a letter or still waiting for CASPER.

I was complete September 28 so it was kind of a surprise that I heard back earlier than the 8-10 week turnaround they talk about. It probably has to do with me being IS

Not really, neither of those are particularly unique in the applicant pool. Not throwing shade at all, ofc hard work went into that.

Does anyone know if Rosalind Franklin is receptive to In the Area emails? I've been reluctant to send these to schools that are nearby other schools im interviewing at because I believe it comes off as expecting too much. But I have an interview in Chi-town and it's mad far from me so I don't want to have to make multiple trips.

They are not receptive. I know someone who wrote an ITA email and they replied and said that they dont take it into consideration.

What are the chances that the next round of decisions will come out BEFORE the DO deposit deadline, December 14th? RFU is a higher priority than my two DO acceptances and I am not trying to lose $500-$1,000 if I don't have to. Wish the wait wasn't soooooooo looooooongggggggg!

They should have told you within two weeks of when your decision will be out, they did for my group...

At my interview about 5 weeks ago I was told decisions should come out 3-6 weeks after the interview, but not to be surprised if it takes a bit longer.

I interviewed 10/27 and still have not heard anything. I’m guessing we will hear in the next two weeks. Someone mentioned earlier that adcom only meets once per month ...

I submitted early aug as well, but I was marked complete around September It seems they stratify which apps to complete first.

I submitted mid august BUT forgot to send CASPer (emailed to see if I was complete and they said they didnt get my score). Sent that early Oct and got a complete email the next day.

Not too ridiculous given the office will be closed for around 2 weeks.

2017 - 2018 Academic Calendar

Tack on that 2 weeks to the back end of the 4-6 quote they gave some groups that interviewed in early Nov - and it's about right.

Context is always key.
