Interviewed here mid september, committee emailed saying deferred making decision on my file in October. Any chance for an acceptance? Or most likely am on Waitlist and they just don't want to call it that yet.

4) For those interviewing in December, they will say you won't hear back until after the holiday, but the dean typically likes to send early Christmas gifts."
 
Does anyone know when acceptance calls are made in relation to when the committee meets? For example if the committee meets Tues, do acceptance calls go out that same day? Wed? Fri? The following week? Neuroticsm level >9000 out here pls halp

Are these “early Christmas gifts” actually real, or are we going to have to wait until January?
 
Current M1 Here. I can only speak to my experience but I interviewed last year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and was lumped in with the December interview invites for decisions. I got my decision the first Thursday of January (1/5). Needless to say it was a stressful Holiday season but ultimately was worth it. Hang in there y'all! I vaguely remember from the Maine Track interviews someone saying that there would be days in the spring for Maine Track accepted students to visit the Boston campus/meet M1s&2s, since we didn't get to at the interviews. Does anyone else remember this/have any more info about when it might happen? I wasn't sure if it was something separate or if they were just referring to a second look weekend.
 
Assuming everyone that interviewed just got the financial aid application? And that it doesn't mean anything promising for those of us probably headed for waitlist? 🤔

I was deferred back in November and I also received this email. As much as I wish for it to be a promising sign, I believe it is standard for schools to ask that students fill out financial aid forms regardless of their status in the application cycle (well...besides a rejection status).
 
I submitted my secondary app on Nov. 30. Any chance I might actually get an interview?

All depends on the competitiveness of your app. Some people who were complete in the summer are just hearing now but if you have a great app I think you have a chance.

Definitely feeling the just let me go vibe... I'm not sure if not having heard anything yet is a good or bad thing, but I do know it's a stressful thing.

Can't find my complete email, but I submitted my secondary early August. I've been waiting for a long long time. Patience is a virtue!
 
Did everyone eventually progress to "Your application is under review"? Mine has said "your application is ready!" since August.
