A previous poster said that CCLCM was planning to release WL and R decisions by Tues, but apparently, AAMC was experiencing a lot of problems on Monday and Tuesday (due to ERAS and the SOAP) that also affected AMCAS, so maybe that's the cause for delay.

You all might be super high on the waitlist. Or maybe people already withdrew.
 
When is second look day? Do you think it's for attending that? Mine also got a call/email. Maybe that's why they haven't updated the portals yet?
 
Second look is April 12th weekend. It says it on the accepted page (i i was accepted to cwru so i see it).

Did all of you just get told by your PI's that they were contacted? Were you with your PI's when it happened?

At my interview I believe they said they’d be calling those high in the WL who would be invited to second look
 
Anyone who got accepted in the last 16 have the option to select CCLCM on the choose your medical school thing yet? Also, good luck to everyone waiting to hear, rooting for all of you!

Hi guys, congratulations to those who have already been accepted, and fingers crossed for those still waiting! I so clearly remember being in your shoes 🙂)) I can't wait to meet you all!

I'm currently a third year at CCLCM, going into fourth when you matriculate.

It's probably a little early, but my dear classmate and roommate of 3 years recently got accepted into NIH for her research year, so I plan to start looking for a new female roommate. If anyone is interested in checking out the place during or after Second Look this April, please drop me a message. I can provide more info and will be happy to coordinate with you.

Since I'm rotating right now, Friday would be best to meet/hang/show place, but we can figure out the details. If you got other questions about CCLCM/Cleveland, I'll be happy to answer them too!

Hi ParaBuckeye,

I happened to see your post while scrolling down. Usually a Facebook group is created after the class is more-or-less finalized. For my class, we created a Second Look group, but it was fairly short-lived because we soon got our class proper. You are right that CWRU SOM 2023 is already up.

Got an alternate list here as well but not sure if my PI was called or not. Will find out from them tomorrow. Not gonna lie, was expecting a rejection so I'm pretty happy with the alternate list.
 
IllI check if my pi was contacted when i see them tomorrow. If my PI wasn't contacted and I was also waitlisted then im guessing the rest of you who had your pi contacted will be invited to second look weekend.
 
If no admissions decision (aka not put on alternate list) is popping up on our portal then that would be a rejection right?
 
Also for anyone wondering, last year wait list movement was reported to have started on April 18th so it seems like after second look people start withdrawing.
 
Alternate listed as well! Does anyone know how many people are typically invited to second look?

Edit: After doing some digging, I noticed @adcom101 said back in 2017 that 5-6 people get SL invites. Is that still the case for this cycle?

@adcom101 how should we interpret PIs being called at this point? Does CCLCM call all waitlist? High waitlist? Or only when you’re going to be accepted?

I did not get the email after accepting it on the portal. I did get a confirmation of my waitlist acceptance though.
 
Also an alternate list through email, no call to PI. Has anyone on the alternate list receive a second look invite yet?
 
Dang, I was excited to get on the alternate list but maybe they don't reject anyone post interview anymore? I have been missing my PI every time I go in lately and feel a little awkward emailing/texting to ask if he got a call.
