from stalking this thread, seems like some people had II without ever being put "under review" so it seems more of a formality if anything...but I could just be telling myself that to not go crazy.

No one’s gotten rejected, and the under review time is completely variable. I’ve known people that got IIs 5 days after under review and others several weeks after. One person didnt even know they were ever under review since they never checked the portal. I wouldnt read into it

thanks!! Yeah I only just checked it yesterday for the first time in like 2 weeks so no idea when that status changed..but nice to see something is happening at least
 
After confirming your enrollment, how long does it take to get your campus key/additional information?

It does take a little while. I would give it about a week, and if you don't hear anything I would call them and ask.
 
Anyone know if students have been pulled off the alternate list in the past? Wondering if it's a soft rejection post II.
 
II here yesterday. LM 72. Actually gave them a call the day before to see if I can send them an update, super helpful guy on the phone answered and told me I’m under review without me even asking for him to check.

Maybe the phone call helped? anyway, first impression of the school is already nice 🙂

I sent an email to ask how my application was going since I didnt hear from them and they thought I asked the pharm school, and then when I tried to clarify I didnt get a response. Would it be bad to call them after?

No it is not a soft rejection and it is possible to get pulled off the alternate list. Make sure to continue to show your interest in the school by sending in updates
 
Interviewing here soon, anyone have any tips or advice on the interview day? I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey! I was put on the high priority waitlist recently and was wondering if you have any suggestions for how to handle communications with the admissions committee going forward. I don't have any meaningful updates to send them, and I don't know when the best time would be to send a letter of interest/ intent. Do you think it would be better to send one now to show that I'm still interested in this school, or do people usually hold off on this until later in the cycle?

What is the best way to contact you students to find a host for the interview day/night? Just email a bunch of you from the list we get? Do you think I should include any specific info in the email, about myself or interests, etc. Thanks! It's cool you have so many students willing to host, that's awesome.

Did you get interviewed early or late in the cycle? Also did you send any updates that you think may have helped you get an II/Acceptance?

Hello! I was also placed on high priority waitlist, as were many of my classmates, so there's hope. I personally spaced out letters of interest, specifying what I loved about the school and why I felt like I would fit in. Later, I sent a letter of intent saying that I would definitely go there, if accepted, despite having acceptances elsewhere

Definitely email a bunch of them because we all have very different and very busy schedules. I would include some info about yourself as well because we like to know what you guys are like!

I was actually interviewed very late in the cycle, so if you guys haven't heard back, don't worry. I sent updates here and there but make sure not to overwhelm them, as they do get a lot of applications every year.

What are some examples of updates - I guess this question goes beyond SKMC, but I am not sure what warrants an update, and was hoping you, or someone else can elaborate on it 🙂
