Probably right. I'm sure they're meeting and discussing most of today.I assume they are going to make all of their decisions and then contact people. So maybe by 5pm today?

Congratulations! Sorry to be that person, but I assume you are Idaho cohort?I got a call today, around 1:30! Wow! Top choice, of course! : D Good luck to everyone else out there impatiently waiting!
Yep! C: Can definitely connect with your username.Congratulations! Sorry to be that person, but I assume you are Idaho cohort?
No im getting really anxious. I interviewed yesterday Idaho cohortAny other calls or emails?
havent heard anything. Previous people wrote we may have to wait til next week.
If tradition holds true, Idaho calls for acceptances will have gone out today. Small possibility or tomorrow.
Waitlist and rejection emails should go out on Monday.
I've heard there are like 3 spots pulled from the waitlist each year. Not gonna hold my breath then. Is there a lot of movement if one ends up being waitlisted?

It depends. Some years there has been only one. Others it has been up to 5.
I’m guessing it’s understood that we don’t ask about feedback right?
3rd and 4th year tuition are much higher than 1st and 2nd year, anyone knows why?
What was the most recent email you had received prior? I got confirmation that I've completed all my prereqs but no confirmation that background check has been received yet.Recently got the email to set up my UW NetID!

Thanks for the info. It caught my attention because other medical school post same tuition rate for each yearThe last two years you do your clerkships which are year round (4 quarters)
The first two years it’s all classroom work and 3 quarters.
I am curious how/if this will change how the waitlist moves...UW finally updated their website, it doesn't look like something from the early 2000's anymore!
More importantly, it looks like the final EXCOM meeting for WA/OOR peeps could be early next week, based on the site and last year's data. So we could hear back as early as next Wednesday (3/13)! Also, they have some good info up regarding the "Choose Your Medical School" tool. Specifically, what UW requires applicants do and when they have to do it.

Any news from Idaho cohort?
Idaho applicant. Waitlisted very high. Looks like they accept about 10 on waitlist last four years.
Congrats!! Do you mind talking a bit more about this? Do you apply for it or you just receive it from the financial aid office? Thanks and congrats again!!
It's on the Acceptance Statistics page, towards the end:Where did you find that info? Couldn’t find it from the email
My email came approximately 4 weeks later as well.Received my UWid login info last night about 2100hrs via email. Took about 3 - 4 weeks from my acceptance

For those that were accepted more than 4 weeks ago, but have not yet received their NetID email, I spoke to student affairs, and it could be because you have not officially been assigned to Seattle or Spokane yet. The final assignments should be done in the next week or so, and you should receive the email then. I assume that also means that all final acceptance/waitlist decisions should be coming out in the same time frame. My email came approximately 4 weeks later as well.

That's what she made it seem like, but maybe not if you haven't actually been notified. Did you select that you would prefer Seattle, but willing to go to Spokane? So if we have a net ID then that means they’ve assigned us to a campus? Because I haven’t received that decision yet
I would guess that no one has been identified officially because acceptance/waitlist decisions are not complete yet. If someone is accepted, they too get to write an essay for their site, right? Don't they need to compare the essays/circumstances before making final decisions? That's what she made it seem like, but maybe not if you haven't actually been notified. My guess is that they've already started sorting people on their end. Hopefully we all find out soon one way or the other! Moving my family across the state will require some planning!I would guess that no one has been identified officially because acceptance/waitlist decisions are not complete yet. No doubt. Some folks have a very compelling reason to be at a certain site. For others, they may not be quite sure yet.
