From what I remember on the interview day they said they would release results on the 15th of December?

When did you interview? I interviewed in early November, and they specifically said they didn't want to give us a date of when decisions would be released in case it didn't actually happen that day hahaha

Ranking meeting was yesterday! Results will be tabulated. PIs of #1-16 accepted students will be called afterwards. If your PI is called, this could be very good news for you!

I believe I read in a past year's thread that they call the most recent PI or the one that wrote you a rec letter.

CCLCM is known for calling PI's before accepting to confirm things, but I think they only call when it's almost certain that you got in.

Every year looks variable. I know last year was later, like around new years time.

There seems to be confusion on this thread regarding what the PI call actually means. But according to @adcom101 , it is simply a call about your involvement in the lab and has nothing to do with a forthcoming acceptance call. So if your PI is called, don’t set your expectations too high just yet!

Current student here. If you are applying to both programs, you can address both if you're interested in both; if you only interviewed at CCLCM or are only interested, you can address it to CCLCM. I talked to Karen about this specifically, but she said that Case doesn't mind if this happens and it won't affect your chances there since it shows you're serious about coming to Cleveland (not sure if your update letter is a letter of intent or just an update).
