I was just going through the thread and it seems like II were given out a day or so before acceptances... so maybe we'll hear Monday? (Complete speculation.. I really hope it's today).

I think it could be random! IIs have been given in the middle of the month too and it may have just been today because the admissions committee met yesterday. Regardless it’s been a mix of hearing fridays and mondays for the monthly response so who knows!

Holds have a low chance of receiving an II, deferrals have a high chance of an A (comparatively to WL)

Do you know if deferrals usually hear at the end of the cycle (like WL) or earlier too?

Once you are deferred, they will continue to review your applications every months. You might hear back in a month on the next decision date or two months later etc. I think you get put on the waitlist if you don't hear back from Adcom until the last decision date.

Yes I got deferred last month and had an email and a portal change. It was the day after acceptances though so the deferral emails may go out on a different day, not sure!

Last year's thread had posts through the afternoon of people hearing. Looked like it ended sometime before 5pm though. Maybe 4?
