I know that rotations are all lottery based but if any M3 or M4 students are on here, how hard is it to get assigned to the Sacramento site for all of 3rd year? My family's all in SoCal and at least being within the same time zone as them would be great.
^same question, my entire family's in SoCal as well, and the moment they mentioned NorCal rotations, I was super stoked!
Odds are 1 in however many people apply for it.

Does anyone know the list of sites where you can rotate 3rd and 4th year?
This is a password controlled site, but here is the list from this year.

For anybody that was on hold and then got an interview, would you mind sharing what you did to get the interview?

Does anyone know if they let us know our rotation site for 3/4th year, during our first year? And if not, when do they let us know? - this would help plan for housing for that year

Also, would it affect someone negatively when applying to residency if they did their rotations at a non-teaching hospital?

You know your third year spot sometime around January of second year, and for fourth year sometime around January of third year.

Differs from year to year based on how many people apply. The current 3rd year class that out there had very little competition and they didn't even fill up all the spots because not enough students applied for it. There isn't going to be a class going to sacremento next year, but they're working on starting that site back up for the class of 2023 (current MS1's). Besides Sacramento, there is now also an Oakland site starting next year. I'm assuming same principles apply to Oakland too.

Oakland?! That's awesome! I'm assuming a KP site in Oakland as well, like the Sacramento sites? All of this is very encouraging, I just need to get past the deferral hurdle to a hopeful acceptance first and then I can celebrate these sweet opportunities 😀

Fellow on-hold groupie here! I already submitted an update letter on the Drexel portal but I wanted to send them an ITA. However, on the portal it says we can only upload one of each item: "Resume/CV, Update Letter, Transcript, Additional materials from MD/PhD applicants". Do you think it's okay if I email them my ITA?

anyone have an idea when jan (1/30) people will start to hear back?

Yup!

Current students/incoming applicants, what are your favorite things about Drexel's program?

For anyone that’s interviewed, is there somewhere to change our clothes/ store a carry on?

I'm an M1.

I love the curriculum. It really sounds like Drexel actually listened to what med students want lol. I have TONS of free time to just study however I want at home/school/wherever. We have required in-person stuff but I find them to be genuinely helpful for exam-prep and not overkill.

Also people are really fun & nice here. People are really down-to-earth and easy to get along with.

Philly is awesome. I live in East Falls but splitting a Lyft to the city takes like 10-15 minutes and a few dollars per person depending on how many ways you split it. Plus Manayunk is right there.
