If only the 11/18 crew could hear back 11/25

EDIT: I guess this is actually a good time to say how the interview went. It was a very laid-back day. After the "Welcome and Orientation," the schedule varies from person to person.

After orientation I had the "Curriculum Q&A" where we got to meet with one of the professors to ask any questions we may have about the curriculum. This is a good block of time to pretty much ask anything you'd want about the pre-clin and clinical years at DUCOM.

After that, we broke off into small groups where we get to have lunch and a tour with our student interviewer. The M1s all had a big exam this Wednesday so we got to see a lot of students studying in the anatomy lab which I think enhanced the experience. The "interview" also occurs in a very relaxed format, and just because they're evaluating you don't be afraid to ask any questions you may have about student life at DUCOM as they will surely be your best resource during the day.

Following this, I had my faculty interview, which felt very much like zero pressure. My interviewer clearly read my application in-depth and in its entirety. We ended up speaking mostly on one EC of mine, which she recognized as my most passionate.

After that, I did our CASPER-esque essay and was free to go.

My favorite part of the whole experience is you really got a feeling that the culture of the school was laid-back and collaborative. Also, I really enjoyed all the fellow interviewees I interacted with which I think says a lot about their selection process.

Lol I was wondering/hoping that too. And I interviewed same day and had the same thoughts!!

Have they sent out R yet? I completed 8/1, haven't received a hold or anything yet. It seems like they've gotten to the early August/late July applications already, but silence on my end.

No idea complete 7/24 and silence on my end.

If I had to guess, we still won't hear until Monday. Last month, they posted something similar to their Facebook page on a Friday and acceptances didn't go out until that following Monday. But here's hoping I'm wrong!

Does anyone happen to know if a 10/30 interview would be included in this round?

Haha if you go back to posts from 10/25, a lot of people heard back!

It was a little earlier than that. The Facebook post saying "an email could be hitting your inbox soon" was posted on Friday, 10/18 and decisions weren't sent out until that Monday I believe 🙂

This is so embarrassing I thought this was the MCW thread BC admissions are coming out today. Ignore me!

lol on my portal it says my MCAT is not complete even though I just attended my interview (it said complete before). Is it safe to assume this isn't concerning then?

I'm curious to up to what date they'll have decisions on. Seemed like a fair amount of late september people didn't hear back last acceptance release day so i'm guessing its going to be late september, early october.

Well now... I was told we'd hear back between 4 and 6 weeks (or the closest decision day) after our interview date

right which is why from them saying that i thought 10/21 would hear today
