I had a dream over the weekend I got an II from Duke and woke up on Sunday to check my email... alas I have been disappointed

I sent mine directly to the Office of Admissions email (thank you in the body of the email, not attachment) and they sent me a personal response, which was very kind!Has anyone sent Duke a thank you note post-interview? If so, how did you send it (uploading it to the portal vs. emailing the admissions office)?
Perfect, thank you!I sent mine directly to the Office of Admissions email (thank you in the body of the email, not attachment) and they sent me a personal response, which was very kind!
I am LOVING your username by the way.Perfect, thank you!
You do it through the portalDoes anyone know how to go about submitting an update to Duke? I recently got to present a poster at a conference and want to notify admissions about it.
AHHH, I noticed that you can only upload documents up to one week after the interview date. Does that mean I cannot send updates anymore? Or am I still able/is it advisable to email admissions directly? You do it through the portal
unless they’ve changed the process recently, if it’s been more than one week or so after your interview date, your complete application with interview has already been reviewed by the admissions committee, so I don’t know if there’s much of a benefit to sending an update.AHHH, I noticed that you can only upload documents up to one week after the interview date. They only pre-interview reject applicants post-II, so you're goodSo just to be clear, based on everything I've seen on the forums, Duke doesn't do pre-interview rejections correct?
Wait what? I'm sorry I don't understand...does "II" mean secondary or interview? They only pre-interview reject applicants post-II, so you're good
They mean when Duke is done interviewing people.Wait what? I'm sorry I don't understand...does "II" mean secondary or interview?
Thanks! They mean when Duke is done interviewing people.
Can someone explain the essay you write at your interview? Is it about an MMI topic? How long do they give you?
They are non-rolling. Everyone who interviews will hear back in February when interviews are over.I was lucky enough to recently receive a II!! I was wondering if Duke is rolling admission or something different (will I be at any disadvantage interviewing this late?) Thanks!

Mind sharing when you were complete?

Just a follow up for anyone in the future, they allowed a rescheduling.Does anyone know if Duke is receptive to alternative interview date requests?
I recently received an II but it is a date that is coming up very very soon, which makes me think someone cancelled and they're hoping I fill that spot. I don't want to sound ungrateful and I am honestly thrilled to have this opportunity, but it will be difficult to manage flying across the country on short notice especially being employed full-time.
In addition, what time would be good to schedule a return flight? Is 6pm cutting too close?
I have TSA-precheck. Made a 6:06 flight with like an hour to spare. RDU is really small.Just a follow up for anyone in the future, they allowed a rescheduling.
Also, for those who have interviewed, would a flight departing at 6pm be cutting too close? It seems like interview day ends at 4pm and the email said it might take up to an hour to get to the airport, which is not including security and such, it seems risky or maybe I'm just being neurotic.

Anybody interview for the Duke MSTP have an update on when the first round of acceptances will go out? When I interviewed in September they said they typically release some in December and some in February, but that they didn't know if they will be allowed to do that this year.
Someone I know got an II yesterday and it was for this Monday.Does anyone know if they're still giving out II's here / what date they're on?
What kinds of updates can we send? Like new employment??? Their faq section make it seem like they only accept certain things
Does anyone know when Duke typically stops sending out II's?

Has anyone had a pre-II MSTP rejection from Duke? Or do they do silent rejections/end-of-II-season rejections
