So confused about the order in which they review apps lol. Interviewed 8/6 and got curious so I called today and was told that pending no delays I’d reviewed on the 20th
 
If you interviewed, check your admissions portal. Some folks from last year said their portal changed before they got any phone call or email.

Also, the portal says we have to pay the deposit fee within 14 days, but I was getting an error when I was trying to pay. They informed me that we have until Nov 14th to pay and we don't have to take any action until we receive the package in the mail 🙂

Hi everyone,
I'm applying to Rowan this cycle. This is a really dumb question...but there the secondary asks about osteopathy...do you need...cite sources where you learned about it? I'm ...used to meticulous citations. As in, I would even cite the lab manual for the class on a formal lab report.

I’m no admissions expert but please don’t make a bibliography for your secondary lol

To any of you that have been neurotically looking at SDN and refreshing every 2 seconds, failed prereqs, dropped out and gone back to college, are old AF, Can't find anyone who is as messed up as you and got in.
Whatever it is.
Just believe in yourself.
If I can do it, you can too!

For those who have been interviewed and are waiting for a phone call/email, I received none of those. I checked my portal and saw the admission offer on there. I’m assuming I’ll be getting something in the mail or email soon but keep an eye out on the portal as well for an admission offer. Still showing a glitch online for the tuition deposit.

I interviewed with Dr. B.! He asked the general questions (why medicine, why DO, why Rowan), questions that elaborated on my specific experiences (e.g. why shadowing made me more interested in medicine), and he also asked what I would change about medicine. Just know your application and your experiences, and take a second to really think before answering questions that you don’t have an answer prepared for. Relax and you’ll do great! Good luck!!

stupid question lol does the admissions offer show up as a separate tab next "upload files, status..etc"?
 
Just had my interview, and it was a woefully disappointing experience. I had Dr. B. The first thing he did after an intro shake of the hand was let out a huge sigh. I found that a bit odd. He was also on his phone multiple times to the point I stopped talking mid-answer because I wasn't sure if he was even listening. In addition, he kept calling me "kid". I usually don't mind that, but it's a freakin medical school interview. Have some professionalism. Also, the first question he asked me was "what will you do if you don't get in?" I found that a bit peculiar as the first question. I love Rowan and I've had an overall great experience with the students and admissions faculty, but the interviewer honestly tarnished it. It could've been a bad day for him or something, but it still rubbed me the wrong way.

If you read my post a couple pages back, I had a very similar experience to you. He did not call me kid, though. I was attempting to PM you but I do not know how. If you maintained your composure and had great answers, I think you will be fine.

Hi everyone,
ACOMAS hasn't gotten my MCAT score yet. Does anyone know if Rowan can send a secondary without it? I know some schools ( such as NYCOM) did. Asking because I'm wondering if that's how long I'll have to wait to complete the Rowan app , bc my MCAT score release is gonna take some time.
 
Has anyone else not gotten a secondary yet? My primary was verified back in June so I'm wondering if I have been screened out :|

I haven't gotten one but they also don't have my MCAT yet and I hope they didn't like...screen me out based on that.
