complete 7/19 and holding my breath for the same thing

Me too. Complete 7/23 (bethlehem campus) and in-state. I'm worried that all the in-state invites for PA schools have gone out at this point.

Hi! Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I have an interview coming up and I was wondering if anyone had any advice to share from their experience?

Interviewed here recently. Really liked the school, left with a positive impression. The interview day was really laid back, and the interviewers were all really nice. You have a writing activity that is low stress, they just want to get your thoughts on one topic they give you. It's no big deal. You have a closed file interview and an open file interview with an admission committee member.

Really wouldn't stress about it, I think you're going to enjoy the day

+1 to everything. Temple was my first interview and really set the bar high for how enjoyable it was. Everyone is super nice and they really want to accommodate you

+2 Temple really surprised me and I left loving it. Interview was very laid back and conversational, no gotcha questions at all. I just felt like I really liked all the students they were all so normal and seemed fun.
Thanks everyone! Really excited for this interview 🙂

Question for anyone who is interviewing at Bethlehem, after calling to schedule your interview did you also schedule your interview on the portal?

Oh I didn't even know that there was a scheduling option on the portal until you said so! I'm not sure if the portal should be used as well tbh. All of the days except one for me is greyed out/unable to be selected and the one date I can select is not the day that I confirmed over the phone! is that your case too?

Yes exactly! I only have one day available and its about a month before I scheduled my interview. I emailed them about it and hopefully I hear back soon. I will update if/when I hear anything

Just heard back, if you are interviewing at Bethlehem you only need to schedule via phone not through the portal. Once scheduled, It will take a week or two to show up in the portal.

They told my group that it wouldn’t be snail mail for the first time and that we would get an email. We heard the second week of December too
Not gonna lie, was kinda looking forward to finding out the old fashioned way lol

At my interview they said first week and email only this year! So who knows what'll happen lol

M2 here...feel free to PM me.
Hi! I hoped to ask how to submit an update to this school. I have a new publication and a new medical event I'm planning for institutions across the tri-state area.

Trixie Mattel is applying to medical school??

Like your fellow applicant said, If I recall correctly there is a spot on the portal. If you can't see it, I recommend shooting them a quick email asking if theres a spot on the portal. If not, they will be able to direct you to what to do next! They are super nice and helpful in admissions. I called a bunch of times when i was applying and they were very helpful

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place to ask but a family member recently recommended that I should apply to this school. However, it is late in the cycle and this school closes applications on 12/15. What is the turn around time between the school receiving your primary and you receiving a secondary, so I can know if I'll receive one in time to submit it before the deadline? Also, would it be worth it to even apply to a school at this point? Thanks and good luck to y'all.

Because they accept in large waves on two dates (?) probably not too late compared to other schools.

turnaround should be pretty fast ...

Anyone know when Temple typically starts sending rejections? I was really hoping to interview but also don’t want to be filled with false hope lol thanks!
Not sure but if you want an estimate/guess of when they start sending out rejections you can check the 2018-2019 allopathic medical school specific discussions from last year.

Question: I know that this school sends out acceptances on specific dates and the first wave is in December, but do you think those of us who interview in November will make it in this first wave?

from what I was told at my interview, the committee meets the Friday after your interview week and decisions are roughly set then. So anyone through the first week of December would likely get their decision at the first release date.

Interview Invite on Thursday! I had sent an ITA email about two weeks ago. Wednesday night they sent me an email saying that I would be getting an II the next morning and that there were a few spots open for when I would be there! They are very helpful with ITA!! Complete mid-August

II just now. couldnt figure out where to schedule interview. activated and loged in my TUportal but it says the application is still under review. Anybody experienced this before? Probably gonna call admissions early morning.
It took about 12 hours or so to get the scheduling section on the portal

Congrats!! When were you complete?

Does Temple reply to your email with an ITA request?
To add to this, does anyone know if Temple does interviews the week of Thanksgiving? I'll be there then and considering sending an ITA
