2019-2020 UNC - Chapel Hill

I would imagine that they meet early Monday and send out results by phone call Tuesday and Wednesday. The meeting your interviewer was in was probably them just informing the faculty whom interviewed you to call the individuals selected.
 
How do you guys deal with impostor syndrome?
I still have days where I think my II was an accident or whoever sent it didn't go through my app all the way, I guess especially since I got rejected from my state schools lol. I'm like "why... would you guys at UNC want me if they didn't" lmao I know it's dumb... bleh

Not for UNC (lol haven’t been invited to interview yet) but definitely other schools I’ve felt like this. Or I’ll think ya my app is pretty good...but not x,y,z school good. I think all you can do is remember that these are not accidents that you’re there, and you wouldn’t be asked to interview if you weren’t competitive enough to get in.

also focus on the parts of your app that stand out. I’m sure you’ve done some pretty cool things to get here and you should be proud of yourself for that. Good luck and I hope you kill it 🙂

Is anyone else having trouble logging in? I interviewed there October 4th, and this is the first time I've checked my application portal in about 2.5 weeks. I tried logging in and it said I had an invalid email/password. So I went to reset my password, and it is saying that an account associated with my birthday/email address no longer exists. Is anyone else getting this?

Try using a different email address. This happened to me a few times because they randomly switched my login to a different email address.

Yes it’s happened to me twice. The first time I just tried to log in randomly like a few days later and it was back to normal. But it’s currently not letting me log in now... so I’ll try again in a few days.
 
Oh damn I just checked my portal and there was an extra bit to fill out because my NC Residency Determination had expired at one point after I applied... Wonder when they were planning on telling me that haha
 
If we interviewed on Oct 14th and haven't heard anything, is there still hope? Sorry to be neurotic, just worried!

It was a MS2 student offering to answer any questions I have about UNC. It did not make any claims about admissions, but it said "Please let us know if you decide to attend UNC so we can keep an eye out for you next year" at the end, which they should know better than to do for us neurotic pre-meds haha
