I did not include my gap year as a disruption. I thought it was more about extended gaps within undergrad or grad schools (especially due to COVID). The question definitely could have been clearer...
 
Does anyone know how long it takes for them to have the permanent resident card checked off? I sent them in 2 weeks ago, sent it again after I completed my essays and it still says not received. They never responded to my email or answered the phone. Is there anyway to contact them about this issue?

Does anyone know if the 24-48 hours after submitting from it turn from pending to complete is business day hours
I submitted on Friday and it still says pending...

Not sure if you guys were able to fix it, but call them! I was able to fix it right away

Yea, I think I will. I emailed them on Wednesday and haven’t gotten a reply yet 🙁 Were they able to find/process the PR card while you were on the phone?

Which number did you call? I called the one on their website and even left a voice message because no one picked up. Getting a little concerned since I submitted since 9/7 but still can't finalize 🙁

518-262-5521 was the number. The person on the phone said the school has to manually check off for you and there can be delays (?). Anyway, if you sent it, they will have it on file and she will be able to process it for you guys. ALSO, even if she offers to finalize the app for you, please check a day after because my app wasn’t finalized.

AND, choose option 2 not 4. I don’t think anyone picks up the phone if you choose 4 (you will know what I mean when you call)

Unfortunately I can't attend the Dean's presentation and student panel the day before my interview...will it look bad if I don't join?
 
I'm a non-trad and my family and I were personally impacted by COVID-19. Usually for most of the schools they have a section where you can elaborate on what happened and how it affected you, but it seems like these prompts only address how COVID-19 impacted pre-reqs/ MCAT scores. Anyone have advice on where I should elaborate on my experience, or if I should put anything at all?

Isn’t there a “if you had any time off between undergrad and now” essay? Spitballing cuz it has been awhile. You could incorporate it in that.
 
I have been verified for 2 weeks and have no secondary. everyone else experience this long of a delay?
 
Has anyone interviewed here yet or attended the Dean's presentation/student panel today that could talk about their experience?

Well idk if you saw the past page but my dumb self finished the secondary in mid August but didn't actually check the complete button until 9/10 I believe, but I would go back and check again because it's not showing me the exact date! Hope that helps!

I'm unable to upload the photo for the II page, is anyone else struggling with this?
 
My primary was FINALLY completed this week after weeks of being in limbo. I got all of my secondaries this week except for Albany's. Just to confirm, Albany takes a while to give their secondaries out? ~1-2 weeks?

*edit: completed this week instead of last week.
 
Interviewed here this week, and just saw that they do not accept ”updates or letters of intent.” Do you guys think that counts for “thank you“ emails as well?

is it too late to submit a secondary here? esp. if you received it a month ago? i see they've given out a good number of interviews so don't want to waste $120 if it's too late to even be considered, but will if I still have a chance.
 
II today. Does anyone who has already scheduled know how far gone the dates are? I'm trying to do the optional essay before scheduling but I'm not sure if I can do it within the next few hours.
