I emailed them about this earlier today and this is what they replied:

"There was an issue with the Letters of Recommendations appearing as completed before they were reviewed. That error was fixed this morning, so they will appear as unreceived until we have reviewed them."

for those who got IIs this morning, when did your apps get transmitted?
 
I also emailed them a month ago asking if I needed to do anything to be reviewed and they sent me the same form email about “reviewing apps in order”....
 
Has anyone who mailed their Dean Eval physically had it received in the portal yet? Especially EDP applicants

I think we did! This still counts for me haha, hopefully we receive a few of the same ones
 
For those who've filled out the Graduate School Application, did you add any achievements if you already listed them on your AMCAS or did you leave it blank?

Leave it blank. It actually mentions achievements in the list of things not to include, I think.

On another note, I was just scheduled for my interview on the 2nd. Dean's eval got marked completed, but there was a problem with my letters of rec??? Apparently if the personal letter writer has ever assigned you a grade they don't accept the letter. Who knew.

Shoot, accidentally included my MCAT cause I went through the motions since it's the same as the DO portal. Just emailed them about it so hopefully it wasn't too big of a mess up

Were you scheduled for an interview by email or portal. Is that Sept. 2nd?
 
What is the time frame like for everyone in the "interview invite received, submitted everything on your end (graduate app and fee, Dean Eval) and but still have most things marked as incomplete in the application portal" stage right now? I submitted everything on my end post-II August 13th and sill have LoR, graduate fee, Dean Eval, and prereqs marked as incomplete in the portal.

II 8/11. graduate fee was marked off on the 7th day of the deadline. pre reqs marked 3-5 days later (can't remember). nothing else has been marked since.

wonder if they had like a certain mcat cutoff. I feel like i have some ties to indiana but also don't want to email them and be annoying bc i feel like thye will reply with "we are downloading them in order." I mean, for UCLA, i got the app right away when i added the school late while some others are still waiting for a secondary so i guess this process is weird

They're definitely not downloading them in order. Look at previous posts.
 
I'm in a masters program at IUSM and they haven't downloaded my app yet so I can't update to tell them I'm in a program at their school. I tried and was told to submit once they download it. OOS submitted the first day. Scores aren't that amazing so I get it. Stay strong everyone, I'm sure us average-score applicants will be downloaded soon!
 
They could very well just download things kind of randomly as well. I got verified about two weeks ago and then got that they downloaded mine application a few days after. No II yet, but I have an LM of ~65.

I'm not sure. I'm from the Midwest and have a 520+ MCAT score so I don't know how they're determining the order of apps to download.

EDIT: I also submitted to them very early in July so it's been nearly a month of waiting to see when they might download it.
 
Does anyone know if IU accepts the FAP? About to submit the secondary info, but do not want to fork over the $70 if I don't have to
 
Anyone know if they will rescind the II for including the MCAT score on the portal? I'm kicking myself I made that mistake since I just started going through the motions like I did for AACOMAS

I emailed them about it and mentioned the fee waiver I got from the rest of the schools but they said this is not for a secondary but an interview so no waiver.
 
Hey does anyone know any further information of the IU rural program? I said I was interested in it and recieved a supplemental information thing to fill out. Once I have completed this I’m supposed to schedule a joint interview. However, I don’t think I want to do the rural program now and when I emailed them asking about stuff they said if I removed myself from the rural stuff then they will basically restart my application and redo the holistic screen and all that Jazz...

idk what to do.

it also seems like you can NOT be accepted to both the traditional and rural program and then decide from there.

from what they emailed me it basically said if I was accepted to rural I had to go the rural route or I could deny it and then be throw back in the normal pool. If rural denies me then I can be accepted To the traditional route(what I want)but then I’m playing the gamble that I don’t get accepted to the rural program.

do you think if I tell them I want to be removed from the rural program consideration this will reflect badly on me and that they won’t properly consider me for the traditional route?

also posting this too so other people have more information about this wacky scholarly information stuff.
