Decisions are release after 4PM CST, right? No chance of knowing before then?

Did admissions mention this?
IDR where I heard it, but I thought 1/3 are accepted during the cycle and 2/3 final pool. Logic being, they want to lock in the best of the best and for everyone else only make a decision after reviewing the entire season of applicants. Best of rolling admissions + not rolling lol.

Okay this makes sense, thanks for explaining. Not the best stats so guess I'll be waiting for a while lol.

Looks like there wasn't any action today huh guys? Thought we would have seen some As today.

So a couple of weeks ago, I got an email around 3:30 CST, but I'm pretty sure the portal updated around 3 PM. If you want to be super neurotic, just refresh between 3-4. Good luck!

Thank you! I'll do that next Tuesday. No news yesterday unfortunately.

Did anyone else's "decision / status" tab next to the interview tab in the portal disappear? Interviewed 10/26

Mine are also still there.

Speaking of which... I figure it's safe to say I've been 'final pooled', considering I haven't heard anything back yet and it's been 6 weeks.

Same 😢. And no one reported anything this past Tuesday.

They don’t review in order and they put out As until the end of January! You could still get an A before the final pool.

To add onto this, the admissions person is that spoke to my group last told us that they try to advocate for notifying people that they’re in the final pool. I wouldn’t despair quite yet, especially since they didn’t send any As this week. I can’t tell you how many schools I’m going on 15+ weeks of silence at even though they say “4-6 weeks” to hear back. It’s not over till it’s over. Maybe next week is your week!!

This eases my worries a bit! Thanks for this. Do you know if we are placed in the final pool, if there is a high chance that we would be accepted? Pretty much, is there much movement off of the final pool list?

I was "final-pooled" last year so I can speak on this. Essentially, the final pool is used to fill the remaining open spots in the class. Many people are accepted from that group. If I remember correctly, they told me last year that roughly 1/3rd of the final pool is accepted, but I could be a little off on that. If you're in the final pool, that email goes out in January, so don't worry if you haven't heard yet. Hope this helps!

Thank you! Makes sense
