You might need to resend to the [email protected] address. I sent to Dr. Callahan and the admissions email. Admissions emailed me back 12 min later and my letter was added to my file that same night.I’m in the same boat

@theconfusedapplicant looks like I can't message you!Saw this on another page and thought it would be useful for here too - I'm going to start an admitted students GroupMe, like this message if you got in and I'll DM you the link 🙂

meeeeee!anyone complete back in aug and nothing?
+1I sent an update email to the SKMC Admissions email address and I only see it as "Email Received 11/3/2020". Should I send another email with my update in PDF format instead so it is updated on my portal as an Update Letter and not a normal email?
It's because this school is so weird about updates. Although they're highly encouraged, updates ultimately mean nothing if who you sent them to isn't available to read it just as it is received. Unfortunately, that's the truth with SKMC. They have so, so many applicants this year...FWIW, I sent an update/interest letter to Dean Callahan almost a month ago, received a response the same day, and an II the next day; there is no record of the letter in my portal. Not sure if that makes people less neurotic, but I figured I would throw it out there
Also just received and II! Were you only able to schedule for February?Just received an II!! IS, complete end of July, sent an update in October. So excited![]()
The last Wednesday in January was also available when I checkedAlso just received and II! Were you only able to schedule for February?
Main admissions email ([email protected])Other than Dean Callahan, who else can we email?
Does SKMC give out pre-II rejections? Sorry if this was asked already!!
I sent separate emails to both just to be safe but that's just meHas everyone sent their updates to Dean Callahan by email or should i send mine to both dean callahan and the admissions office?
I sent it to both in the same email. Dean Callahan responded and thanked me and then I assumed the admissions office uploaded it to my portalHas everyone sent their updates to Dean Callahan by email or should i send mine to both dean callahan and the admissions office?
Hi guys! For those who already interviewed, how many days before your interviews did you receive the zoom links via email?
Ah I see, thank you so much!I think I got mine like 2 days before my interview.
Ayyyyy BDNJust as an anecdote, I pretty much submitted my secondary to this school as soon as they opened (sometime in July), didn't get an interview until December, interviewed sometime near the end of January, and got accepted right before the Eagles won the superbowl (thank you BDN), and now I'm an M3 here. So yea, point is, if you didn't get an II yet, relax. Still lots of time!
Interview Day packet should be on the website under "Interview Day."Interviewing this week but haven't received the link for the agenda and interview packet, should we receive these the same time we get the zoom links?
Congrats when was your complete date?Just received my first interview! As an international student, I cannot believe it! This is one of my top choices, so I am really happy I received the II. For people that have already done the interview in SMKC, can I receive some tips (dress code, is there time for lunch?, any info that does not break the NDA)? Sorry guys, but I am kind of neurotic rn because I had my hopes low as an international student. LizzyM 70
I interviewed this cycle and I took one semester of Ochem with lab and one semester of biochem without labI'm wondering if anyone could shed some light on the pre-req course requirements. I'm a non-trad planning to apply here next cycle. I'm wondering if I can get away with only taking one semester of o chem because the website states the requirements are: "a variety of college course formats and combinations, including biology, general and organic chemistry and physics are a minimum." The MSAR also only lists courses as "recommended" and not "required".
I emailed their admissions office to confirm this, and they responded with a block of text that seemed copied and pasted stating: "Our requirements are as follows: 1 year of biology with labs; 2 years chemistry - general/organic with labs and 1 year of physics".
Has anyone had success applying with 1 semester of o chem and 1 semester of biochem for example?

July 27th, but probably later because of my MCAT retake. I sent an update email thoCongrats when was your complete date?
Thank you so much for the info! I really appreciate having some extra info about the interview 😀 I wish you good luck for the rest of the cycle!Congrats! My interview was over a month ago so I don't remember the details, but the dress code should be professional for any interview - wear a nice suit. I don't remember if there was time for lunch but I'm pretty sure there were small breaks (10-15 minutes) in between different segments of the interview day where you'd be able to eat something really quickly. You're not going to starve but you're going to be sitting there for a while. Most of the day was spent listening to different admins and students talk to us about the school and us asking general questions, and then at the end we had our actual one-on-one interviews, one with faculty and one with a student. My student interview was entirely conversational, it was like I was meeting someone for the first time and trying to be friends. The faculty interview had some more traditional interview questions but it was still very conversational. Just be prepared to talk about your application/activities and have answers for general questions like why you decided to get into medicine and what specifically draws you to Jefferson and you'll be completely fine. It was a really low stress interview day. Good luck!
That is the same situation for me, but I don't think we have to stress. They clearly got our emails and I'm pretty sure they have already rejected people so if they really hated you they could have easily done it then. She probably very busy and can't respond to everyone.Sent an update to dr Callahan and the admissions email in mid November. She never responded and I just see “email received” in my application portal. Anyone else in the same situation? It seemed like she usually replied to peoples emails :/ should I just leave it be?
was just about to ask the same question. When I scheduled the earliest date was in January, but now apparently there are December dates open tooHas anyone tried to reschedule for an earlier interview or is that a risky game?
FWIW, at the one school I have gotten into so far, I rescheduled my interview from early November to mid-September, and did it only 3 days before the new September date. I do think it helped because that school has rolling admissions and I felt as ready as I would if it were 6 weeks later. For any school with rolling admissions, early as possible is definitely better (as long as you're ready). I did call the admissions right before I did it though to make sure it was okay, so maybe do that firstYes, I also want to know if we can reschedule earlier. I don't know if that would be risky tho.
did you reschedule online? on my portal it doesn't say anything about switching dates. All I see is "Should an emergency arise and you need to cancel, please contact so and so"FWIW, at the one school I have gotten into so far, I rescheduled my interview from early November to mid-September, and did it only 3 days before the new September date.
