Think some of the first interview were around the end of September, so has been 5ish weeks for them, but agreed, hurricanes have definitely thrown a wrench in things. Has been 3 weeks for me and silence.
 
Likelihood of getting an II after being put on "Hold for Potential II"?

I neurotically looked through last year's Tulane thread and it seems that it took anywhere from 4-12ish weeks for people to hear back after an interview, even though they said 3-5 weeks. It also appeared that the longer the decision took (i.e. 2+ months), the more likely it was for people to be rejected/waitlisted rather than accepted. Thought that was interesting but that's anecdotal based on very limited info available on SDN so take it with a huge grain of salt!
 
Might be different this year though since even people who might be accepted haven’t heard anything

Received the email, still under review

I guess neutral news is better than bad news 🙂

im glad it was for a dual degree program. i was expecting:

"we noticed you applied for our MD program! we strongly suggest that you pursue a much less ambitious option, such as a masters degree. we have some spots open in our janitorial services program as well. learn more here!"

Hi. So I just got the email saying I was under review. I was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to hear if you get called for an interview after "getting the green checkmark" lol

Some people have been under review for weeks to months.

if you don't mind me asking, when did you submit your secondary?
 
I’ve been under review since 9/23. I did see a white back that someone posted a graph showing that Tulane sends out a bulk of interviews in September and then another much smaller batch in late November/December. Does anyone know if this happens every cycle?
 
if I get an email about secondary app under review is that a good sign rather than getting a rejection - should i send an update letter if I'm now doing clinical research
 
Hold for possible II today. In the email it says that most applications are put in this category after review so this isn’t that encouraging.

OOS and no ties. Was under review mid August but complete late July. LM 67.

does anyone Who has looked back seen how good/bad a hold here is? Is it basically an R or?

so they rejected you without reviewing your app? lol their system is so weird. the whole review thing, and then putting people on waitlists for interviews...

I’ve been following this thread since the beginning and also read most of last cycle’s thread.. it seems like very few people ever get taken off of the hold.

Did anyone else just receive this email "Thank you for submitting your AMCAS application. We have not received your secondary application. The deadline for submitting your secondary application is November 15, 2020. Please submit your secondary as soon as possible."?

My app was complete on 8/6 and I received the under review email on 10/21 😕

I think it was sent to some people by mistake. I have an interview with them next week. I replied to the email asking for clarification, will see what they write back.

+1. Finished my secondary early August and got the complete email last month too
 
Just got it too, and had a mini heart attack trying to figure out if forgot to submit. Adcoms playing with us
