2020-2021 Tulane

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Are the only options at this point hold or R? I have been under review since early Nov. but it seems like nobody is getting II's anymore..
I think it just depends on how many people they end up accepting from the current number of students they have interviewed. From my knowledge, Tulane only interviews around 600 people a cycle.

Pre - II rejection today. Complete early November. Under review early January. Good luck to the rest of y’all!

For all of the people that have gotten interviews, about how long did it take you to hear something back?

It's really random/difficult to determine. On their website, they say typically 3 to 5 weeks for a decision. But with COVID-19, it might be delayed. Personally, for me, it was 4 weeks (1-month) to hear back. But from lurking in the forums, it's typically 4-8 weeks.

I interviewed 10/16 and heard the first week of December, and know someone that interviewed 10/15 and heard 2-3 weeks before me. Don't think there's a true guesstimate, they say 6-8 weeks but the holidays definitely slowed that down I'm sure

Has anyone received post-II R? Or they just send out As to some people and put the rest in the acceptance range?

Is there a way to know how many interviews have already happened out of the ~600 they perform every year?

As far as I know, no one who even interviewed November 12th has heard back so I doubt it :/

I would also like to know this~
So I just checked last year's thread. One of the responses says for the 2024 class, 96 students were pulled from AR. Another one says 60/260 applicants are eventually accepted from AR, but it varies every year. This year could be different too. Since there is no cost to attend interviews this year, there is no need to withdraw II to save money. I think those who went to a million interviews and received many As will eventually withdraw their application. It's just my theory to keep myself staying hopeful. Best wishes to everyone! You guys/gals are all wonderful!

Complete 9/4; under review 1/23 10:39 AM EST. XD Still hanging in there somehow. 😳

If anyone gets off WL/Acceptance Range, let us know. I dont predict it to be until after April/May season but we never know.

Thank you!!! Hopefully mine is closer to 4 weeks, lol.

For those who got holds, does this mean you had already gone from "In Progress" to "Under Review"? I am still In progress with the red ! So I am wondering if this is a silent R or they really haven't gotten to me

anyone get off WL for possible interview? been there since sept ..
I've been on hold since October and haven't heard anything. Something tells me that unless they invite you immediately, there will be a small group that gets moved from the hold list in March. Otherwise it just feels like a soft R.

Just got an email saying they completed reviewing my application and are putting me on hold

Has anyone heard back recently after interviewing? I haven’t seen any on here since mid November.
